“SHI---” I paused.

I quickly sat right up, my eyes roaming the surroundings on my room as I rubbed my eyes, trying to get rid of the fatigue. "That couldn't be a dream right?”

I remembered last night that Marco tackled me on the bed, but I'm not quite certain if it was real or not. What if it was just a dream?---but it felt so surreal. I couldn't ask Marco that too. If I asked him and it wasn't true, I can imagine how he'll laugh and embarrass me in front of everyone.

I couldn't just say “Hey! Did you just tackled me on the bed and kissed my nose tee hee?”

I lifted my fingers and trailed on my nose--the exact spot where he kissed me. I groaned and forced myself out of bed. What am I getting myself into?

I sluggishly walked like a zombie towards the bathroom. I glanced from the mirror and let out a mortified scream.

My face! Besides my hair sticking around and dry saliva on my mouth; there were drawings on my face. On my cheek there were one terribly drawn hearts by both sides, a BIMBO word with all capital letters on my forehead, a triangle on my left eye that made it look like an Illuminati sign.

And the best thing? It was all drawn on Sharpie.

"MARCO!" I yelled loudly before hardly scrubbing my face, trying to get rid of the scribbles. It proved to be a hard task when my face was getting redder yet the Sharpie wasn't budging off.

I'll shove a dang Sharpie up your ass Marco!

By the time I arrived, I was close to being tardy. It wasn't fun; my face was still red because of my extreme scrubbing--at least rather than going to school with vandalism on my face. I matched onto the hallways, a frown etched on my lips as I thought of ways to get back on him.

I entered my first period and sat down on the chair the farthest—the one closest to the windows. I glanced and watched as Vincent entered. He was finally back.

He spotted me and waved, a big grin spread on his face—at least he's happier than me.

He sat down on the vacant seat beside me, resting his bag on the floor.

"Hey!" he beamed, his aura was too bad for my glum and angry self.

He probably noticed my mood and glanced at me with a crease on his forehead. “Why are you angry? Did someone do something to you? Tell me it's name and I'll give them a taste of my fists,” he smirked, clashing both of his fists.

I shook my head, letting out a small smile although it didn’t make anything better. “It's fine, Vincent. I think it would be better if I do it myself.”

He chuckled, running his fingers through my hair and ruffled through it, making my hair look like a bird’s nest. “That's my girl.”

I finally smiled, trying to remove his hand from further ruining my hair. “Stop! I just brushed this!”

He paused mid-way, then stared at my face immensely as if he realized something. Then he asked me wearily. “Why..is your face red?”

“Oh, you'll know later,” I sneered, my anger seeping back onto my system.

I didn't want to spill anything to Vincent, let alone I might spill to him the fact Marco tackled me on the bed and kissed me.

I could just about imagine the fume that would come out of his nose and he'll probably end up to the principal’s office.

My eyes shot to the incoming person and all the anger I had busted.

Without any conscience and even in the right mind, I instantly shot up from my seat, dashing towards his direction and before he could even noticed it, I lunged at him and tackled him on the floor.

We both came crashing down with a thud as I could feel everyone’s gaze peer through us.

"YOU JERK!" I screamed like a loose lunatic as I pulled some strands of his hazel hair and chuckled like a maniac.

"I knew I shouldn't have let you watch me!” I fumed, watching his face writhe in pain. “—you don't know how red and painful my face was when I tried to wash the dang Sharpie off!”

I gasped when it turned the other way as he rolled over and he was now on top of me and I froze. "You also think I will let you get away for pulling my hair?"

Even though his hair was swerving of all directions and was ruffled, he looked more beautiful and that was unfair.

He smirked smugly, though his eyes were fuming in anger. He bent down and brushed his lips against my ear, making my hair prick upwards.

He murmured in a low, seductive tone. “You like this, don't you?”

I snapped out of a trance and pushed him away from me, putting my hands on his chest as I managed to roll off. "Jerk,” I hiss, getting up on my two feet and wiped the dust off my skirt.

"Lunatic,” he shot back.

We were currently at the theatre practicing for our drama. Luckily Vincent was already here and we practiced our lines with actions.

Holly was kind today and she gave us a break. I walked towards Vincent and I tapped on his shoulder softly. "Hey.”

His shoulders tensed up as he peered by me with wide-eyes. “Geez, jagiya; you startled me.”

“Sorry,” I smiled lightly.

"Is it alright if we practiced the other lines and actions? I mean the holding hands and stuff so it doesn't get awkward, you know?” I say shyly.

In our script, Theodore (Vincent) would make a deal with me and try to make Beautrice (Janice) jealous. So that's  why we had to practice holding hands and crap like that.

“Sure,” he smiled and grabbed my hand from my sides without any warning.

"U-uh,” I stutter while our hands held each other. His hands were soft and warm, kind of nice since the weather felt chilly.

He intertwined our fingers and I turn slightly flushed. “This is really awkward.”

He squeezes my hand gently, giving me a small smile. “Yeah.”

We were in the middle of practicing when Holly retreated to us, grinning so wide. "In this scene Marco and Janice, you stand there while Vincent and Star, you kiss each other in front of them.”

My eyes widened to absolute terror. “What?! Did I just hear you right?”

Holly sighed. "I know your first kiss is important but this does not count; this is professional and only strictly that and this is just a drama so this could really boost our grades,” Holly tries to guilt-trip me.

I glanced at Vincent then to Holly. "Is it really important?”

She nodded. “It's very crucial.”

She then proceeds to grab a hold of my hands and squeezes them gently, giving me a smile. “Don't you want to steal the limelight, Star? If so, this is your chance.”

"V-vincent, are you okay with t--"

"So we have to kiss each other now in front of you all?" he spoke nonchalantly.

I couldn't believe he would just agree to this. I gulped, in the corner of my eye I could see Marco's eyes widened then contort into something I couldn't put a finger on.

"Star,” Vincent spoke, earning my attention.

He walked closer to me and cupped my cheek. I was paralyzed and my heart was beating so fast. He bent closer and tilt to the side so that he could kiss me. My cheeks grew red. We were gonna kiss. And this wasn't a joke.

Our lips almost brushed when a hand tugged me away from Vincent.

My eyes shot surprised when Marco glared at Vincent. "She's mine, faggot.”

He looked at me and my eyes widened when he hastily leant down and pressed his lips on mine. I let out a sound once his lips met mine and there were sudden shrills and shrieks on the theatre.

I was kissing Marco—he was. My eyes were still widened while his lips were still on mine.

My legs were turning jelly. I could fall right now yet I couldn't move nor found the strength to push him away. His kiss paralyzed me to the point I couldn't think for myself anymore.

I gripped on his blazer so that I wouldn't fall.

He was kissing me, the guy who always mutter crude things to me...in front of everyone in the theatre.

Shit.
