"Do not concern yourself; I shall bring one of my subjects here to assist us in this endeavour. It shall only take but a moment to summon him."

Closing her eyes and I assume concentrating, she was silent for several minutes then just like that she opened her eyes and smiled.

"Luke is on his way; he shall help with transportation for Jean Luke and shall help us move him through the hospital. Now if you will show me something that is of the men I seek I shall start on removing their knowledge of what has transpired here tonight. While I am doing that you will retrieve the paperwork as you put it so that we may leave as soon as young Luke arrives."

Still a bit high handed but what can I expect. The thought as to why I was doing what she said passed over my mind but the thing was I'd already come to an epiphany on that; Lolanda said she could erase memories so what was stopping her from messing with mine, nothing and so I made a choice help her of my own free will and keep everything in my mind where it's supposed to be: you never know I could lose more than tonight from my mind, no thank you. Quickly moving to my desk I retrieved the paperwork that the boys had dropped off and looked at who was the signing physician. Finding that it was Steve Gartnen I realised we'd gotten lucky. Rooting through my desk I came up with two old I.D. badges from the guys and an old Dodgers cap that was Steve's when he was down here on his rotation. Having a quick think I knew that Steve wouldn't have filled out any paperwork other than signing off, so he was easy. With the shifts he'd been running I doubted he'd even remember what day it was let alone another DOA.

Double checking the report I saw that luck had swung our way once more as Bill and Ted had got the call, so no cops. The bullet hole was hidden enough and with the body being dead at the scene they had no reason to check for wounds. With their memories wiped no-one should be the wiser. Moving back to Lolonda I showed her what I'd found and hoped that would do. Keeping an eye on the walking dead I watched as he tried to walk through a wall. Not the brightest guy I'd met it would seem. Gesturing to Jean Luke she spoke up.

"These things will do, do not concern yourself with Jean Luke his soul no longer resides in the body, what you see is simply a shell of the man that was. It will be my duty as High Priestess to see that his body is returned to his grave and not disturbed again. No doubt one of my incantations will succeed in that task. Now while I deal with the mortals' memory, you will see Jean Luke back onto the table and prepare to leave this place once young Luke arrives."

With that she took the items from me and went to stand in the corner. Once there she started chanting softly under her breath, though I couldn't quite make out the words. Ignoring her seemed the best option, so I moved over to Jean Luke which I had to remember to call him and took his arm. Stirring him to the moving gurney I managed to get him onto it, lay down and covered up before the next and I hoped the last strange thing walked through the door.

Looking up as it opened, to say I was shocked would be an understatement as the biggest wolf I had ever seen pushed its way through the doors.

"It is about time Luke I have been waiting for you, we do not have much time, and there is other business that I must attend to tonight. Getting your father back to his grave is not my only obligation. The rest of the realm needs my services; the Mulintie wolves are not my only concern."

Thinking that I really should have stayed home tonight I watched as before my eyes the wolf started to glow. Before I could blink it went from a wolf to that of a full grown man, a naked fully grown man to be precise. Blinking to make sure I wasn't imagining things I still saw a naked man standing where the wolf had been. Spinning round so I faced the wall I could feel my face heat up. After all the naked dead bodies I had seen in my career I couldn't believe I was blushing like a school girl. Thinking fast and I was amazed at how clearly, I grabbed the nearest lab coat and thrust it behind me without turning.
