"Zayn don't leave me, please!" , Harry begged Zayn who was getting ready to leave. He couldn't deal with everything, he needed a break, and he sure as hell needed a break from the media. He didn't want to be in the spotlight at the moment, he was only twenty-two. It's not like Zayn had to leave, he only wanted to take some time off and think things through.

"I'm sorry baby.. But I have to. I feel like I don't belong in one direction, " Zayn sighed and pulled a crying Harry off of the floor and into his arms.

Harry sobbed into his chest and gripped the soft black material that was covering it. Zayn traced patters into Harry's back and tried to stop himself from crying as well.

"Baby don't leave.. Or I'll never talk to you again," Harry threatened and detached himself from his lover. He only shook his head and stood up, offering Harry a hand but was declined.

"Harry, want to know the real reason that I'm leaving? It's because of those fucking rumors about you and Louis. You know how that makes me feel? Like shit. I'm your secret boyfriend, not him. You think these rumors are all fun and games, but what about me? Babe I need a break, I know you want to come out but I'm not ready for that yet, " Zayn admitted and looked down at the boy who was still on the floor.

He was right, Harry did think the rumors were all fun and games. Everytime a fan brought up Larry, he'd laugh and make a joke about it by saying 'yeah that's my boyfriend', and hug Louis.Everytime Zayn would see or hear that his heart would break even more, why didn't Harry do that to him in public?

"How do you think that I felt when you had Perrie as a beard? Huh? Fans shipped Zerrie! Those rumors hurt me too!" , Harry snarled and got off of the floor. Zayn's face was fuming with anger, but he tried to restrain himself from lashing out at Harry.

He was going to handle this like the mature adult he was.

"Harry she was a damn beard. Management made me fake date Perrie. You know why the engagement was called off? Because we weren't real, so don't you even think about twisting the game up you damn hypocrite. You know what? We're over, why don't you get with Louis or some shit because I'm done, " Zayn spat and walked away from his ex boyfriend of three years.

The last thing he heard before he ran to catch his train was the sobs of the man that he loved. He kept telling himself not to cry on the way to Bradford, but it was hard. He was going to miss the boys, especially his Harry.

After Zayn left, Harry was on the floor crying his heart out because he lost the love of his life. He knew that it was his fault, he should have denied those Larry Stylinson rumors instead of playing along with them.

Niall, Louis and Liam already knew that Zayn left, and they didn't know how Harry took the goodbye. They rushed into the room to see Harry curled up on the floor and crying.
Niall pulled his crying best friend into a hug and let him cry onto his shoulder. Niall didn't want to admit it, but he did understand why Zayn left the band.

"He's g-gone all because of me, " Harry sobbed and gripped Niall's shirt. He held the curly haired boy in his arms and tried to whisper soothing things in his ear. Liam looked at Harry with a sympathetic look, and Louis had a frown on his face.

"Harry I'm sure it's n-" , Louis started but got cut off by Harry.

"Not my fault? Well it is Louis! It was also those Larry Sylinson rumors! I- I can't be around you for awhile.. We need to let fans know that Larry is bullshit, " Harry said a little too harshly. Louis' face fell and turned into anger.

"Well whatever you want! I thought that you were my best friend but I see that I was wrong. It was your fault for letting the rumors still happen, " Louis spat and walked away.

Ever since that day, Louis and Harry couldn't get along at concerts or interviews which caused the temporary split of One Direction.

The day Zayn left...

"Fuck.. " , he cursed when he realized that he was crying. He felt bad about leaving the band, but he couldn't take it anymore, his heart wasn't good enough for that.

Zayn loved Harry deeply, he really did, but it killed him that fans had shipped him with someone else. He didn't want fans to ship Larry or Zerrie , he wanted them to ship Zarry.  He wanted to be able to kiss Harry infront of their fans, to let them know that there was infact a Zarry.

The last performance before his departure made him cry on stage infront of his fans, and they knew exactly why he was crying. While singing 'where do broken hearts go', he saw his secret lover crying, and that gave him the water works.

Zayn wanted so bad to tell Harry that he's sorry, but he needed to move on. Those were the best three years of his life, but that era is done now.

This is a new start.
