Harry cleared his throat, turning around to meet Liam's warm brown eyes. Liam didn't hold eye contact and instead took a seat next to him. Harry opened his mouth to speak but decided against that when Liam scooted his chair over a few feet from where he was sitting. Okay so maybe the other brunette was still holding a grudge. Zayn immediately noticed the odd behavior between his best friend and boyfriend. 

"Uhm... is everything alright between the two of you? You guys seem off," Zayn started after the awkward silence got out of hand. Harry faked a smile for his lover- not even wanting to explain the fight to Zayn. The poor man was in jail already and hearing this news would just overwhelm him. 

"No of course not baby. We're fine as it gets," Harry lied. He felt guilty even though it didn't show on his blank face. Zayn raised his eyebrows, lightly nodding his head. Obviously  Harry was lying. Who was he trying to fool? Definitely not Zayn Malik the sex god. Again, everything Harry really wanted to say was spilled out by Liam's big mouth. 

"Nothing here is a little happy walk in the park Zayn. I would never lie to my best mate, take notes Harry." Liam pretended to pick at invisible gunk under his fingernails. Harry was a walking joke. Lying to your boyfriend for what?

"FINE!" Harry stood up, seething down on the male sitting near him. "The only thing off  is Liam's ability of being straight! That's the elephant in this room Zayn!" 

Zayn's whole facial expression changed at Harry's words. For one, he rarely yells, let alone at his best mates. Second, Liam wasn't straight anymore? That made no sense since he had a whole life ahead of him with his wife and son. Who could the secret male be anyways? Zayn thought for a second- with the loud voices of his mates bickering in front of him. Then it hit. 

Louis. 

So Louis could finally be happy now that Liam returned his feelings? The man behind the glass smiled for a split second until he remembered about both of their families. Lilo could sadly never work. 

"How dare you! After every secret i kept for you, you bluntly spill mine? Zayn, Harry is a liar and I REFUSE to have my best mate date scum."

Zayn was taken back by Liam's accusation. Liar? How? Harry could never...

"What do you mean he isn't straight, Harry? And Liam... what is all this talk about lying supposed to mean?" 

Liam smiled in satisfaction, ready to destroy Harry's relationship. One secret got out, another one cant hurt. Harry glanced at Liam, his eyes pleading to not give away any intake on every secret they shared. 

"Before you try to tell my boyfriend a lie ,  I want to know what you're trying to gain from all of this. You call me a twink and now you want to ruin our relationship because you are jealous of the fact that you cant be in a gay relationship?"

Anger arose from Zayn and Liam. Zayn because his best mate dared to call his boyfriend a twink, and Liam from Harry's clever insult. Zayn was about to scold Liam before getting cut off by the fit male. "During those one direction days where Taylor was Harry's beard... They had a little 'session'. Incase you didn't know, Harry slept with her. Weren't you guys dating at the time too Zayn?"

Zayn froze. His boyfriend had been lying to him for years. He silently prayed that Liam was lying, but from the look on Harry's face, his horrid question was answered. It was as if his whole world was shattered. The man that he loved deeply and thought wasn't a liar nor cheater... had done both of those things. This whole time it was Zayn's trust that Harry was supposed to be earning, not vice versa. 

Harry stared down at his feet not even bothering to clear up the lie. He just couldn't look Zayn in the eyes. He wasn't man enough to do it. But he was man enough to cheat and not tell Zayn...that's what really broke the two apart. Every single ounce of Zayn's love and trust he had for Harry was basically removed from his mind and heart right then and there. 

Is this how Zarry will end? On a bad note just because of a cheating incident from a few years ago? Harry and Zayn were both hoping this thought wasn't true. Only their actions, feelings, and fate could tell otherwise. 

"I'm so sorry Zayn, I thought that something this little couldn't break apart Zarry," Liam sincerely admitted.  His anger got the best of him as he was only trying to anger Harry and not break his best mate's heart. Then he thought about it, Harry was his best mate too. No matter how stupid their fight was, he took it a step further both times. 

You cant just do that to your two best friends. He was the one who started the argument first, when Harry was only trying to look out for him. That was when Liam realized how bad he fucked up. He lost Harry, who lost Zayn. 

"Go away you cheating bastard. I don't want any part of this relationship anymore. Did you cheat on me again this time too?" Zayn weakly spoke after he swallowed the huge lump in his throat. 

Harry fell to his knees, not even seeing Zayn anymore behind the glass. He got deja vu all over again, remembering the time he begged for Zayn not to leave him. His bottom lip quivered immensely while he mumbled incoherent words to Zayn. It hurt the oldest male, it really did. Disappointment, sadness and loneliness overcame Zayn at that sight. Harry didn't even need him, he was a strong man who could fend for himself for awhile. 

The guard behind Zayn hesitantly put his hands on his shoulders and gave them a slight rub. Without anymore words being exchanged they both headed back towards Zayn's cell. Before they completely left, the guard stopped in his tracks to look at Harry and Liam. 

"That was a pretty low move of you Henry. Why don't you just stick to being a womanizer like you always were?" He turned over to  Liam, "I'm guessing that you want to see Louis, yeah?" Zayn's officer being nice? What alternative universe were they in? Obviously Liam said yes to the question that caught him off guard. 

"Alright just fill out the papers and he'll be right out," with that said, their figures retreated away from Harry and Liam. Silence surrounded the two remaining singers. Liam itched to apologize but he just couldn't get the words out of his mouth. 

"I hope you're happy now Liam. Destroying relationships like they're nothing."
