Hey guys, sorry for the long wait. I kinda gave up on this a little bit cuz i'm tooo busy these days with school work. I can't be bothered recapping so I'm trusting you guys to reread the last bit of the last chapter. Can you do that for me? :D
Anyways...ON WITH THE STORY!!

Max stood frozen at the door staring with a terrified expression at me. Everything have gone dead silent all of a sudden. I slowly turned my head to my two best friends and found them staring at max frozenly. I noticed it wasn't just Max, Jess and Crystal that were statue-like, but also everything else that surrounded me. I'm either trapped in time or the world froze in time.
A pitched-black shadowy mist crept up behind max giving the room a massive evil aura all around the room. The aura gave me a cold chill down my back as it slowly moved towards me. I drew out my sword. Oh wait... I don't have a sword! I was weaponless! What was I going to do?
For some odd reason, my body and instincts took over. I went straight to one of my cabinets, opened it, typed in some password that i had never memorised, and took out my sword. It was wierd because I had no idea what I was doing. Being dumb and stupid, I charged my opponent without having any skills.
I was about to slash through the shadow when it drew out its own sword. We encountered each other's moves and blocking them skillfully. Not meaning to brag but I was a natural! How did I manage to be this skilled when I only just learned it today? Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my opportunity when the shadow left it's left body opened. I took that moment to stab it but my sword flew straight through.
"Good game. I thought you would be bad at this being new to this but you're not bad yourself!" the shadow finally spoke
"Who are you?! And why are you even here?!" I responded with my sword ready in my hand to attack.
"I would love to kill you but Lord Eclipse wanted to give her message to you." The shadow reponded
"Answer my question! Who are you?!"
"I was getting there! I'm ShadowNight. Commander of the ShadowNights. My troops and I serve Lord Eclipse. Nice to meet you Ms Whitenhood." The ShadowNight bowed
An evil shadow as a gentleman? Didn't see that one coming. Even though the shadow was being 'friendly', I didn't keep my guard down and refused to retreat my sword.
"Now tell me, what did Lord E wanted to say?"
"Lord Eclipse wanted to say..." The ShadowNight transformed himself into a shadow figure of what looked like Lord E except it was very blurry and pitched black.
"Try and rescue your pity so called powerful gods of the land Erika. Come alone or your parents and the rest of the other gods will be eaten by my monsters. The entrance is beneath the Brisbane river bridge. The ShadowNights will lead you there. I'm waiting for you." The shadow looking Lord E gave her message and transformed back into ShadowNight.
"I gave my message and will now leave. I will see you soon. The next time I will meet you, we shall have a dual but for now...Chao!" ShadowNight replied with his last comment and disappeared in midair leaving teeny bits of black mist behind
Time unfroze itself. I was left standing there stunned and still trying to process the information from before. It was like time have decided itself to switch and froze me instead. Jess and Crystal looked confused for a second then walked over to me.
"Why are you here when you were sitting down before without me seeing you walk over?" Max asked staring in confusion.I finally unfroze and replied to him.
"I was talking to ShadowNight when time was frozen. Sit down and I will explain what happened"
Max, Jess and Crystal sat down in my living room as I explained the whole story to them. They were engaged in my story one minute then confused, angry and frightened.
"Your going alone? That is not safe. Plus Lord E told you the 'entrance' that we don't even know if it is the entrance. It could be a trap." Jess was the first to respond
"Jess is right, you must not go alone. We will go with you as well as some others for back up. This way we know that you are safe." Crystal added on to Jess' point
"I will go alone! I don't want anyone getting killed because of me! Plus if I don't go alone Lord E will kill all of our parents! Do you really want that to happen?"
Jess' P.O.V
Everything that Erika told me sounds so much like a trap. Lord E showed her secret location to Erika when she told no-one else. Plus if she wanted Erika to go alone, she would have said to Erika to keep to herself. This all leads up to a trap. I must find a way to keep Erika safe. Right now, she is being to stubborn to listen about having back up. She will have back up even if she doesn't want to. I will have to do it!
