Chapter 9 - Unknown

Unknown POV

Hiding behind a mountain hill of rocks, I arrived at the main courtroom panting. I have finally outrun the monstrous guards at the entrance of the cave. There were about 5 chasing me, but I outwitted them. After asking them to take me to the main courtroom for some business to talk to Lord Eclipse, I somehow managed to trick all 5 monsters into looking straight into my eyes to see if I had eyes like them about 30 metres away from the entrance of the room. Then, I erased their memory and sent them into confusion 2 minutes after I ran away. Now I was in the courtroom with all the gods including my dad, Saefore, locked up in some kind of power-reducing prison. Lord E was in the centre sitting on her throne all glimmering with power. She was definitely not what I expected her to be. I thought she would be some hideous monster with a horrible sense of fashion. Instead, she looked in her teens and her hair was a nice chocolatey brown spirally curly hair that is tied into a french plait with bits of lavender stuck to her hair. She was wearing a purple short sequined short front long back dress with the complete of purple laced high heeled sandals. I don't know how I knew what she was wearing, but she was HOT!  Not any type of hot but a mischievous devil looking hot. Sadly, all were just looks. Lord E is a god herself so she could look like anything if she wanted to.

"Has that girl started her journey?" Lord E demanded.

"Yes, my Lord. We expect her friends are coming along too right?" A shadow looking guy asked with one of his knee on the ground.

"She will be travelling alone, but her friends think she is inexperienced. They made a small army approximately about 13 following her trail. Lead the girl. Just keep ur hints hidden for the army. Now leave. I'm going to eat my dinner in front of my delightful guests!" Lord E ordered.

"Yes, my Lord. Enjoy your dinner" The shadow guy stood up and bowed in front of his Lord and vapourised. 

Lord E slowly walked over to the prison cell and smiled evilly at the gods. In her hands, a fancy dish popped up on her hands. She swayed the dish from side to side for all the gods to smell the delicious smell of steak barbeque.

"Too bad you are not getting any! This is your real dinner. Enjoy!" Lord E evilly smirked with a large pot of black congee in her hand as she passed it to the gods.

"At least give us something decent will you! Sure we made your powers controlled so you won't get out of hand but we gave you food fit for a god. This is how you thank us?" Abelina spoke up

"Ugh. Fine, you can have ham and cheese sandwich. Only because I'm in a good mood today." Lord responded with a cheery smile and instantly the sandwich appeared in the prison cell

Lord E went back to her table and started eating her steak barbeque. On the corner of my eye, I saw a little secret tunnel on the other side of the entrance. I took a close look at the Lord and quickly ran over to the other side. I quickly hid behind some rocks and took a peek at the Lord. She turned her head around to check, but luckily she didn't notice me. I made myself invisible and my feet levitated an inch above the ground. I quickly finished the tunnel and ended up outside the cell. My invisibility must have worked pretty well since none of the gods noticed. On a piece of paper, I wrote 'Help is here. Do you know how to open the prison door? Is there some sort of key I can open it with?' I dropped the note in with my pen and Abelina was the first to pick it up. She read it and answered my question before she dropped it back out the prison. I went pick it up and read it. 'Who are you? I can't even see you. You must be Saefore's son, right? The keys are always with Eclipse. If you want to get them, you have to trick her into summoning the keys and give it to you. You can only open this door when she hands you the key directly. If the keys were given to you by someone else, you will be transported to this prison as well. Good luck!' 

I reappeared myself in front of the gods and my dad and Abelina looked surprised. Why would they be surprised at me? I'm just some demigod sent from my camp to come here to free my parents. The gods probably thought I was dumb to come here by myself. I must admit that I was a bit stupid to arrive here without support. However, I was sent because everyone thought that my powers were strong enough. Plus, I was willing to give up anything to save my dad and all the other gods. I don't want to lose my dad like I did with my mum. I was about to say thanks to Abelina when Eclipse walked over.

"Wel, well, well! A child to of both the greatest gods eh? Going to save your parents? I don't think so. I would put you that cage, but I don't think you can handle its powers. Instead, you will be staying here. The 'Demigod's prison'." Lord E pointed to a prison cell next to the gods.

"Wait hang on! I am a child of ONE of the greatest gods. His name is Saefore. My mum is not Abelina. Not of what I was told. I heard my mum died right after I was born. I never had a mum so don't lie to me!"

"Oh, but you do! She didn't tell you, did she? She probably told those demigod trainers to lie to you. Rubbish! The curse won't even going to happen!" Lord E looked amused.

"What curse?"

"My dear son, I'm sorry to not have told you for so long. The curse was that if any two gods were to have a child together and he or she had a sibling, one of the child will not be able to know both of their parents. Once both siblings know their true parentage, one will die. I'm sorry I had to keep it from you. It was to ensure you and your other sibling were safe." Abelina sobbed 

I was too stunned to even answer. Lord E dragged me by my collar and chucked me inside the 'Demigod's prison'. I didn't even have the strength to stand anymore so I slowly fell into a crouching position. All the memories that happened in my life rushed into theatre mode right in front of eyes. Everything was a lie! 

"Your sister will be joining you very soon. Then, we can all have a family reunion!" Lord E added.

"I have a sister?"

"Why yes. Yes you do!" Lord E cheerfully smiled

I just found out I had a mother and now a sister? This was too much for me to take in. Naturally, I fainted.
