Closing the god damn door.

I arrived home and climbed through my window and into bed. I could not sleep. I was haunted by the fact that vampires may be real and I had just found out that the person I had a huge crush on was one along with his brother. Also I think I may have just revealed two of my biggest secrets. My powers. And my hide out.

I sat playing with my iPod trying to get it to work but even with magic it wouldn't work. When I was accidentally making the power turn on and off I think I broke my iPod, my phone and my iPad. Whoops, father will kill me.

I lay on my bed making random things fly around the room out of boredom when I got the feeling that I was being watched. I looked over to my window and without moving as much as a muscle I commanded my blinds to close. Even after the blinds were closed I still had the feeling that someone was watching me. I put everything in its place and tried to rest but all of today kept creeping up on me in my thoughts. Then I remembered, Gerard bit me. Will I become a vampire? Am I going to die? Will I have a scar left there forever?

I decided to clean myself up. I walked into the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. I looked a mess. My hair stood out in different directions, I have huge bags under my eyes, I have blood stains all along my neck and down the right side of my body. I looked like I just crawled out of a horror movie. I just practically did. Living in the world of vampires, witches and werewolves could not be classed as a normal thing. It's like I'm living the life of a horror movie character. Well if I am I sure hope the bad guys lose and the good guys win. I feel liking being a good guy.

"Ash?!" I looked to the right in the mirror and found my little sister staring at me with wide eyes. "Ash! What the hell happened!" My sister shouted but in a hushed voice.

I just stood there shocked. What should I tell her? 'Oh hey yeah I have a secret hide out that no one knows about and when I was down there two vampires, the new boys, just attacked me but I ran away.' Something tells me that saying that to my sister wouldn't exactly be the best thing to do.

"Ash? Tell me please? I won't tell anyone, I promise." My sister begged and I took a deep breath.

"They are real Rose. Vampires are actually real." All I could say. I was still shocked at all that had happened and how bad I was beaten up. Blood was everywhere. "Why aren't you in bed any way Rose?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"I couldn't sleep. Stop trying to change the subject anyways. How did it happen? Who did it?" She asked reminding me that she wasn't stupid.

"I-I don't know." I said lying through my teeth. Of course I knew who did it and how it happened but I just didn't what to tell her.

"Okay then. Get cleaned up and just come to bed. I'm stopping with you tonight." She said. She always looks out for me even though she is the younger sister.

"Okay, thanks Cullen." I joked and she just smiled before walking away and closing the door.

I took the chance to quickly jump in the shower and was away the horrid smell of iron and blood. I had to hand wash my clothes in the sink to make sure no one found out and when I get into bed I really need to tell Rosalie to keep quiet but I trust she will anyways because she knows what is best for everyone. She is the only thing I can put up with in this house. I love her to bits, I wouldn't give her away for the world.

After I had cleaned all the blood on my neck I looked in the mirror and was I had two blue scars where the teeth pierced my skin. Blue veins stood out prominently around that area on my neck but I was lucky enough to have enough hair that covers the marks so no one will see it tomorrow.

Tomorrow.

Damn it.

I promised I would walk to school with Gerard and Mikey.

I should just go up to them like it didn't happen and act as if it didn't. Act as if I didn't know their secret. Act as if I hadn't stayed up all night. Act normal. Be my normal self.

I climbed back into bed and ran things through with Rose and she completely understood the circumstances and promised not to tell anyone or act any different around Gerard and Mikey. I ended up telling her the whole story and promised that one day I will take her to the hide out but not quite yet.

I just fell asleep while planning through everything on how I was to act tomorrow. No acting different, no sleeping class ( however tempting it may be,), no telling anyone, keep my neck covered and try to forget all about last night.
