CHAPTER 16
~*Raynes POV*~
The next morning, was a Saturday. Finally! I woke at 10am, and went to the bathroom...oh great. My period. I sighed and sat on my bed, listening to my ipod. "Just Dance" by Lady G was on.
I smiled, as i remembered yesterday. I am no longer single, and my boyfriend is the hottest, sweetest, kindest boy in the world. If only i didnt have to worry about stupid Jason. As much as i want to forget him and continue with Ryder, i have to make him regret messing with me.
A while later, Jake walked in my room.
"Evr heard of knocking?"
"Hmm....pfft, Nah." he smiled. I rolled my eyes, and made room for him on my bed to sit. He plopped down and stared at my ceiling.
"So...how was it yesterdy?" he asked. I smiled.
"It was great! We went to this fancy, beautiful place called, Somewhere. I know right? Well anyway, his cousin, Natalie-Grace owns it, and it was amazing! The place was so refined, and pretty! There were mini-waterfalls, gorgeous lights, lush gardens, misty air, gazebos, french glass doors, and very decorative tables!" i gushed. Jake smiled sadly.
"Wow...you sound happy." he said. I nodded.
"Oh, i am! Ryder and i talked, ate, went outside in the garden, and he asked me to be his girlfriend under the Gazebo and it was so perfect!"
"I saw you guys and your make-out session in the car." Jake said, and i blushed.
"Oh...you saw that?"
"yep. I'm actually surprised...at both of you."
"Why?"
"To begin with, youve never kissed a boy before. You were kissing like you did it everyday. Most new-kissers suck at it. I should know. As for Ryder, he kept his hands to himself...in a way. He didnt bring any hands to your chest or butt, like he usually did."
"Could you not bring in how Ryder WAS? That part of him is over."
"But its not gone. He'll always remember that he used to have sex almost everyday with many different women."
"So you think i wont be enough for him?"
"No, i didnt mean that Rayne."
"Then what are you trying to tell me here?"
"Im telling you to be careful. I know that Ryder has never cheated before, cause he never had a real girlfriend. Just bootie-calls. So a relationship is new to him. And i do not want you hurt. I swear, if he looks at another girl for more than two seconds, ill make his birth certificate a worthess document."
"Dont worry, Jake...after what Jason did...i wont allow myself to get hurt."
"You will if you fall in love with him, and he leaves you. I want you to be happy, and right now, Ryder seems to be your happydrug, so he can stay in the picture. Jason made you happy and then crushed you...he must be hurt to the most extreme amount possible. No one messes with my girls. You, Noreen, Mom or Maya." he said, and i hugged him.
"thank you Jake. I love you."
"I love you too Rayne." Jake smiled, and we sat there for a long while.
