Fran held Illya in her arms while they flew as if she was a baby. It was a strange feeling coming from a brute woman like Fran. They soared over many villages, fields, and kingdoms, Illya felt like an eagle gazing down at the world. Finally, they landed atop a mountain covered in frost. Illya was only dressed in her tattered cloth shirt, and pants so she was shaking from the temperature of the mountain. The four of them headed towards the peak of the mountain with Fran in the front. After awhile Fran stopped and looked back at Illya then said.

Fran: "From this moment you killed that kolbold you became a woman. You're no longer a child Illya so don't expect anyone to treat you as such anymore."

Fran continued walking with the other two Valkyrie following behind.

Fran: "If you freeze to death on this mountain I won't stop and save you."

Illya whispered to herself.

Illya: "Well that nice feeling sure didn't last long did it."

Illya followed close behind the Valkyrie, she made sure to stay as close as she could to gain some sort of relief from their body heat. After a grueling journey, they finally reached the peak of the mountain. Illya was expecting them to spread their wings again, but instead, they stood still for a few minutes. Illya looked around impatiently as she felt her hands and feet go numb until Fran looked at her and spoke.

Fran: "Kneel Illya, or you will be stranded on this mountain to die."

Illya jumped back from the statement and quickly kneeled on the snow-covered ground beneath her. Fran and the other Valkyrie did the same and Fran looked up and spoke to someone.

Fran: "Lord Heimdall, we ask of you, please grant us safe passage by the aid of the Bifrost."

A great rumble came from the sky and Illya thought that the sun itself was tearing through the clouds. Suddenly the clouds disappeared and the snow melted off the mountain. Illya looked up to see a rainbow bridge as long as the eye could see in front of them. Fran motioned Illya to come on and she hopped up and followed right behind.

The bridge was nothing like the name sounded, it had a very comforting and inviting feeling to it as well as feeling warm. In spite of the name Bifrost, Illya had felt warmed up and better than ever. After a while, the group arrived at a large tower with a man in golden armor standing watch. He had a horn on his waist and wielded a long golden blade. The gate at the base of the tower opened as they approached and a beautiful light poured out as it did.

Heimdall: "Welcome back Valkyrie, I expect everything went as High Father Odin commanded?"

Fran: "As always, my good friend. Thank you for allowing us passage through the Bifrost."

Other Valkyrie: "Thank you lord Heimdall."

Illya: "Um, thank you Heimdall sir."

Heimdall heard Illya's voice and looked behind the three Valkyrie to see the little girl.

Heimdall: "I see you found a new young warrior!"

Heimdall knelled down to Illya's eye level and spoke with a greeting smile.

Heimdall: "I'm sure you'll exceed everyone's expectations. Who knows, you could even grow stronger than High Valkyrie Fran one day."

Fran: "Don't baby her Heimdall, you'll give her a false sense of comfort about what's to come."

The group continued on their path, Heimdall and Illya waved goodbye to each other as they passed by. As the group continued on Illya was lost by the vast new place she was in. Many buildings, gods, and different beings passed by as she looked and stared.
