It was 11:30 in the morning and I looked to my left and saw Justin fast asleep beside me. I tried to get out of bed but he had his hands placed on my waist so I tried to take them off of me without waking him up.
As I successfully pulled both his arms off me, his eyes fluttered open and he blinked a few times before rubbing his eyes.
"Morning, baby." Justin said in his raspy morning voice.
"Good morning sleeping beauty." I laughed and leaned over to kiss him on the cheek.
I walked over to the closet to look for an outfit since I was hanging out with my childhood friend, Sam today. I haven't told Justin yet but I'm sure he won't mind.
Justin sat straight up in bed and furrowed his eyebrows. "Where are you going?"
I turned around and put the dress down on the bed.
"Oh, I'm gonna hang out with Sam. You remember him, don't you?"
Justin's jaw clenched and he ran his fingers through his hair.
"Yeah. Why are you going to hang out with him?" He questioned. For a second I swear I heard the anger in his voice.
"Well we haven't really hung out in a while so I thought it would be nice to catch up on things while he was in town. He moved to Texas last month."
Justin rolled his eyes and laid back against the headboard.
"He should just stay in Texas. You shouldn't even be hanging out with him since you're dating me."
I scoffed and picked the dress up off the bed.
"You don't tell me what to do. You're not my mother. And since when is it such a bad thing to hang out with a guy other than your boyfriend?"
I stormed out of the room and went to change in the extra bedroom. I can't believe Justin is making such a big deal out of this. He always gets so jealous when it comes to other boys. It makes me feel like he can't trust me.
I quickly put my blue dress on and slipped on some cute sandals and a couple bracelets. I put on my makeup, braided my hair, and sprayed myself with perfume before looking into the mirror and admiring my outfit. I grabbed my purse and began to walk downstairs.
Justin was sitting there at the kitchen counter, drinking coffee and angrily glaring at me.
"Why are you so dressed up if you're only going to "hang out" with him?" He put his coffee mug down and waited for a response.
"Grow up, Justin. I'm sorry that I just want to look presentable. It's so sad that you don't even trust me."
I stormed out the front door and drove as fast as I could to the little restaurant we were meeting at.
As I arrived there, I saw Sam sitting at a table outside the restaurant, looking through the menu.
"Sam!" I squaled when I saw him. His eyes widened and he instantly got up to give me a hug.
I sat down across from him and he gulped before looking me up and down.
"Y/N, you look beautiful." He said while smiling.
I felt the heat rise in my cheeks and I swatted his arm before going to pick up the menu and reading through it.
"How are you liking Texas so far? I missed you so much." I told him.
