YOUR POV

You see, I never should have agreed on going camping with Justin, Chaz, Alfredo, and Kendall. Usually I'm in love with this type of stuff, but this time's experience was a complete nightmare.

For starters, Justin insisted on sharing the large sleeping bag I had because according to him, he was my "best friend in the entire world," and he said that I would keep him warm.

Chaz would not stop making weird noises in his sleep and farting unexpectedly. That was a whole other problem we had with Chaz. Last night, we made him sleep out in the woods because he became such an annoyance.

Alfredo was up all night editing films and pictures on his laptop and the brightness from his screen reflected against the large tent we were in, making it hard for us to sleep with all that bright light. Kendall wasn't much of a bother, though. I bonded with her most of the time on this camping trip. She brought nail polish and tons of snacks with her, so naturally, I stayed around her.

Today was our last day in the woods, though, so I didn't have to deal with these things any longer.

"Do you guys wanna split up into groups and explore the woods a little? We haven't really seen anything beyond where we set up our tent," Alfredo suggested.

We all agreed and Justin chose me to be with him, and surprisingly, Kendall joined Chaz and Alfredo. I thought she'd tag along with us, but I didn't mind her going with them.

I pulled the hood on my sweater up over my head and shoved my hands in my pockets as Justin and I walked along a deserted path covered in dry leaves and twigs.

"So, what was your favorite part of the trip?" Justin asked while adjusting his blue beanie. He looked over at me with curious eyes.

"Probably that one night when we roasted marshmallows and told scary stories near the fire. Chaz was so scared that I saw a tear dripping down his face. He made me promise not to tell anyone though." I giggled. "What about you, Jay?"

"Sharing the sleeping bag with you. It gave me an opportunity to press myself against your body while we slept," he stuck out his tongue at me and laughed.

I shoved him jokingly and glared at him.

We continued walking in silence for a few more minutes until Justin grabbed my hand out of my pocket and laced his fingers with mine.

I looked at him, confused, but he explained to me that he had to show me something. I trusted him and let him guide me through the large, open space.

Justin stopped abruptly in front of a large tree with a handmade ladder nailed onto its' trunk.

I looked up and saw that there was a cute, rustic looking treehouse up in the tree that I definitely wanted to explore. My eyes lit up and Justin noticed me staring at it.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Justin said, breaking my gaze from the lovely treehouse. "Let's go up!"
