Chapter Five. 'Never Lose Your Flame.'

TROYE POV

I woke up with a smile on my face and super comfortable, which confused me to no end since I usaully wake up wanting to stab everybody and eat three gallons of bacon. I look up and see Tyler staring at his phone while he unconsciously rubbed soothing circles on my lower back while I lay on his chest. I don't know why I did what I did last night but I'm sure as hell glad I did because I never wanted to leave this comfortable position with my amazing best friend.

I yawn and start rubbing my eyes and I can feel Tylers eyes on me. "Well, good morning, sleepy head." He chuckles out at me. I chose to ignore him and bury my face back into his amazing chest. "Fuck off, Tilly." I mumble into his chest making him chuckle more.

"Awww, Is little Troye still tired?" He sarcastically asked, making me lift my head so he could see me rolling my eyes at him and then laying back on him while he still rubbed my back and I was trying to fully wake up.

"What time is, Tilly?" I asked, not moving from his chest but turning my head to look at him.

"Twelve thirty." He answered.

"How long have you been awake?"

"Like thirty minutes." He answered me.

"What are we doing today?" I ask him.

"You want to hang out with Zoe?" He asked me.

My head sprung off his chest and I sat up quickly, suprising him. "ZOE!" I screeched like a little girl becuase I've missed her so much.

He laughed loudly, "I'll take that as yes."

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Call her nowwww!" I screeched, making him laugh louder.

"Okay, okay. I'll call her." He finally laughed out and put his phone to his ear while I laid back down on his chest with a smile.

I only heard half the conversation while I was twiddling with a bracelet on Tylers wrist.

"Hey, babe ---- Yeah, we just did. ----- Yeah, that's what I was calling about. ------- Yeah, sounds good. --------- Okay, how about in like three. Lord knows how long it will take to get both of our quiff games on point. ------- Okay, bye. Love you." He said before hanging up his phone.

"Well, what did she say." I said, twirling the bracelet around, carelessly.

"We are going to get something to eat at four if that's okay." He asked.

"Yeah. That's great." I say back and we fall into a silence while I play with the bracelet. "Did a fan give you this?"

The bracelet was a chain and was held together by the words, "Never Lose Your Flames" in cursive that had a red and black ombre that looked like fire. It held losely on his wrist and was gorgeous.

"No. I bought it." He answered me.

"Where?" I asked him.

"Well, I found it on the internet when I was a teenager and bought it while I was going through some stuff and just trying to change myself to fit peoples standards. The saying has always kind of stuck with me and it just reminded me to stay me and never lose who I am by trying to change for other people. It's like the one thing that has made me, me. It was the only light in all the darkess I was surrounded in back then. It showed me to never lose hope and it was the only thing that kept me holding on. To most people it's just a cool bracelet but to me it's everything."

He told me this story while we stared at eachother and I was in complete shock that he told me about this bracelet that means so much to him, that he trusted me with this information and it sounded like he has never told a soul about this bracelet. I wanted to hug him and tell him how thankful I am that he trusts me and that he's the best thing in my life but I just sat there shocked.
