Chapter Fourty. "A Happy Cliche On Rainy Days."

(A/N Keep in mind that logic is stupid when it comes to locations and weather and whatnot so just like let them have a cute time without logic, okay?)

Tylers POV

I wake up, yawning loudly and stretching out my limbs. I immediately cuddle back into Troye until I realized he was the one forcing me awake. I groan as I begin to open my eyes.

"My family is leaving now. We have to say bye." He answers, sounding just as tired as I felt. I followed him out of the room without a word as we walked more like zombies down the stairs. I gave a half hearted attempt to fix my hair.

Troyes family was all traveling with Steele to stay with him for a few days, leaving Troye and I all by ourselves. I said goodbye to all of them as did Troye and they gave us a list of rules, happily including no sexy time which made Troye screech and me laugh loudly. Troye complained, instating that he was a grown adult, earning a pat on the head from Mama Mellet and a, "Sure you are honey. We're just making sure you're all safe."

Eventually they left and the first thing Troye and I did was fall back into bed and fast asleep.

Hours later, Troye and I begin to wake up. We lie in bed lazily until both of our stomachs feels as if we're about to resort to cannibalism. We both get ready and dressed in fairy nice clothes, button ups and skinny jeans, before Troye locks up and he we walk to a small cafe.

"We probably should have took the car," Troye groans, looking up to the sky. My gaze follows and I see the dark clouds forming above us.

"Too late now," I say kissing his temple as we walk into the small cafe. Something I love about Troye is he enjoys the little things, small gestures, anything. Small quality cafes are definitely one of them, he says it makes him feel at home. He'd rather be here than a fancy dinner and I think that's adorable. It also fits his personality immensely.

We're seated by a friendly waitress with a pretty yellow sundress on, brightening the mood on a rainy day. Troye orders Nutella crepes with chocolate milk and I order coffee and pancakes with strawberries. We chat aimlessly until our food shows up and we happily stuff our faces, hungry from the long morning of doing nothing.

A conversation isn't picked up until we hear the rain start to pour down, loudly.

"Well, fuck," Troye laughs as we take our last couple of bites. Quickly paying the bill and leaving a nice tip before walking to the door. We look out the door longingly like maybe the rain would stop pouring if we looked at it long enough. It put up a fight though and eventually we've been standing at the door way too long.

"Oh, fuck it," I say, grabbing Troyes hand and running out the door while pulling Troye behind me.

"Tilly," He screams as we run out of the parking lot and we are already soaked. I laugh loudly as I turned around to face him, his hair was lying flat on his head and his white button up was sticking to his gorgeous torso. I gave him a bright smile before turning around and running back up the road, dragging him by the hand with me.

The rain was pouring down hard on us as we ran, our loud laughter mixing with the sound as he shined his gorgeous smile, water droplets scattering his face. He caught up with me and was by my side, running beside me easily.

We were out of breath by the time we got to his long road. I leaned heavily on Troye as we lost our breath from our laughter. We slowed to a paced walk, trying to catch our breathe. "You're soaked," Troye laughed out loudly.
