Chapter Thirty Two. "Questions On The Roof."
Tylers POV.
I smile to myself as Troye drags me down the empty road, claiming he's going to die from hunger. I begin to laugh when Troye squeals in excitement when he sees his little cafe and begins to run to it, dragging me behind him.
"Bry!" He says excitedly almost knocking him over when he hugs him like he hasn't seen him in years, hugging him with one hand though since he hasn't stopped dragging me with him. I notice his hair is now a different color.
"I thought I wasn't going to see you for another thousand months, girl." Bry says before looking at me. "And Tyler. Hi. Good to see you again." He adds before bringing me into an almost awkward hug.
Right when we pulled away the bell, indicating somebody walking in, dings and Troyes other friends walk in together. I wonder if they date. Mark and Ashley, maybe Markshley? I ship it.
"Troye," A girls voice squeals out, tackling Troye and then giving me the same treatment while screaming my name. Mark just pats us on the back before walking behind the counter and putting a pin on his shirt with the cafes logo on it.
"You guys remember Tyler, my boyfriend." Troye introduces me again, my smile growing when I hear the word boyfriend. This was the first time we used that word towards our friends and while Troye said it shyly, confused whether to say it or not, I wore a proud smile. His smile growing when he sees that I was happy he said it.
"Of course we remember Tyler." Ashley says back and I give her a smile.
"Okay. Well, I'm kind of starving." Troye says with a smile on his face as he leans in to me. We order some tea and some soup and sandwiches and have a small conversation with them before we find a normal seat in the corner, one wall a window and the other the chalkboard wall.
Mark brings our food to us and after promising he didn't spit in it he leaves us on our own.
"Thank you." I tell Troye as he takes a bite of his sandwich.
"For what?" He questions.
"For today." I answer and he smiles.
"It was your idea." He retorts and I smile this time, not bothering to argue back and instead grabbing his hand that was resting on the table and am surprised when we hear a high pitched "Awwww," from behind us, sounding more like a yell.
I turn around slowly to see Ashley sitting on the counter while eating a cookie and watching us. Troye answers her with the middle finger and I just laugh, turning my attention back to Troye.
"Your friends are cute," I say.
"You're cute." He says with a smile.
"You're cuter." I retort.
"You're cutest," He says with a smug smile, knowing he won. I throw a piece of crust at him in return but miss him completely anyways, making him laugh and me pout. (A/N When in doubt, peace and pout.)
We eat the rest of our dinner talking aimlessly and making jokes and we may have spent an hour or three talking to Troyes friends. I learned a lot about them and they were super cool and nice. My favorite thing was watching Troye socialize. He doesn't do it often but when he does it's really nice to see.
He is always the center of attention, loved by everyone. I mean, who wouldn't love him? He's cute, funny, and nice without ever being mean. He's basically the closest to perfect anybody could get and he's mine. Everybody is always laughing at his jokes and I love to see him being praised upon by his friends, especially when he looks genuinely happy like right now. So i sit there with him and watch him, only sometimes contributing to the conversation as he absentmindedly rubs soothing circles in my hand.
