(A/N The demigods are already mortal, and since their memories are wiped they don't know each other. They will be in Junior year, they reduced their ages a bit as well.[Some new ships will pop up!])

     Annabeth's POV

I woke up to a fist pounding on my door. "Get up Annabeth!" My stepmom yelled through the door. I groaned and checked the time; 6:30.

"Yes mother!" I called out, sitting up in bed. I've always had an obsession with grey, so every was, well, grey. I had a large closet and mostly grey furniture.

I walked over to my dresser and pulled open the first drawer and grabbed some clean underwear and a new bra. Second drawer I pulled a dark grey shirt with a snowy owl on the front. Third drawer I pulled out a pair of light blue ripped jeans. I got changed, brushed my teeth and hair, put on deodorant, and grabbed my book bag from the chair in front of my desk. I glanced at my phone and earbuds, then took those too. I tucked them into my backpack and opened the door to my room, heading down the stairs. "Bye Mother, by dad!" I called as I walked through the kitchen to get to the front door. My mom scowled at me and my dad looked at her then gave me a pitying look.

I smiled at him, assuring him it was okay. She may hate me, but she didn't dare lay a finger on me. I walked out the front door, waving goodbye to the twins, and headed down the road to my bus stop. I saw another kid walking on the other side of the road, she must be knew because I've never seen her before. She had choppy brown hair, all put into a braid and draped over her shoulder. She wore skinny jeans and a loose olive green shirt, and I realized there was a feather in her hair. She looked over and smiled at me. I could feel my face tint pink. She was the definition of hot. Her tan complexion made her look Indian, and the feather brought it out even more. Her eyes looked like they were constantly changing color, like a kaleidoscope of colors.

I smiled back and she looked both ways of our street, then ran across the road. I moved over on the sidewalk so she would have room to walk as well. "Hi, my name's Piper." She stuck out her hand while we were still walking. I smiled at her, holding out my hand for her.

"My name is Annabeth." She smiled and released my hand, walking along side me. "Are you new?" I asked her. Gods she was even more beautiful close up. I would imagine she would be a make-up wearing snob, but her face was all natural and she looked super nice.

"Yeah, I am. You?" She asked, looking over.

"Nah. I've been in this line of schools since Kindergarten." I told her, then remembered my phone. I reached back and pulled it out, unlocking it.

"What type of music do you like?" I asked, looking back over at her.

"Hmm..." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "I like Ke$ha. I know, cliché high school girl, but some of her songs are really good."

"Yeah, I love 'Die Young,' but I think that's all I know." I admitted.

"Oh, I also like Twenty One Pilots!" She piped up.

"Now you're talking!" I exclaimed. She laughed and I joined in; her laugh was so beautiful.

I looked up Twenty One Pilots and played an album. I handed an earbud to Piper and she smiled, putting it in her left ear. I put the other one in my right ear. Stressed out was playing, probably one of my favorites. I sung softly as we walked to the end of our block, where the bus stop was. "You know, you have a really pretty voice." Piper told me when the song was over. I blushed bright red, I didn't know she could hear me.
