The New Year

Chapter Three

Olympus, 3rd Person POV

      "Okay, so Will has officially been added!" Zeus exclaimed. "Anything else?" 

      "Can we add Travis and Connor?" Hermes asked.

      "No!" All the gods yelled at once. Travis and Connor made pouty faces.

       "Anything else?" Zeus asked. 

      This time, the both of the camps were watching with interest. "Maybe murder Gabe?" Poseidon muttered.

      "Wish so, buuuuutttt no. Now, let's invade some mortals lives!" Apollo said happily.

      Nico's POV

      Know how I said Percy was hot? Scratch that. THIS guy was hot. It was the first day of the second week of school and some new kid walked in. He had a perfect tan and sandy blonde hair. He had freckles all over his arms and face, faded when they headed for his hands.

       "Hello Will, you can sit anywhere you'd like, but that's your pernament seat." Mr. Blofis said, and Will smiled, looking around at the seats.

        When he saw me, his grin broadened. He skipped over to me and sat in the seat between Percy and I and smiled at me. I tried my hardest not to blush. "Hi! I'm Will Solace!" He exclaimed.

"Nico." I muttered, looking down at my phone. My list was paused.

"What do you like to listen too?" He asked.

It went like that for the rest of class. He asked me questions and I'd give him short, quiet answers. Once it got to the end of class, Will skipped ahead. "See you Nico!" he called over his shoulder.

I felt a nudge in my shoulder and looked back. Percy was there with a slight smirk. "I ship it." he said, then winked. I could feel my face go bright red and I scowled at him.

"Don't turn annoying Jackson." I warned. He just shrugged.

"I'm not. Just saying I ship Solangelo." He laughed quietly when I scowled at him and we headed our separate ways.

Percy's POV

I walked towards the lunch room. The three classes after homeroom I zoned out. I thought Nico was cute, the way he got so flustered easily, but he looked a lot better with Will. I was still going to give Will a threat once they started dating. Don't question me, I know they're gonna get together. I smiled slightly to myself as I saw Jason and Thalia wave me over. Except it melted when I saw more people at their table.

I slowly walked over and noticed that a few kids from my classes were there. Leo, Annabeth and Piper from homeroom, Hazel from English Language Arts and Frank from math. "Hey Perce, hope you don't mind me bringing a few extra kids. All friends of friends." Thalia said with a shrug.

"Sure." I muttered, taking my normal seat next to Jason.

3rd Person POV, Olympus

"SEND ME IN!" Calypso yelled.

"What? Why?" Zeus asked.

"I don't want Leo hitting on other girls." Calypso huffed. The gods looked at each other then shrugged.

"Sure." Zeus snapped his fingers and she disappeared, then reappeared on the screen.

Percy's POV

A new girl from my history class this morning walked in. Her name was Calypso, and she was really beautiful. She timidly looked around before Leo stood. Oh boy.
