The New Trait Part.2

IMPORTANT: I will use Shyness in my One Shots after she is fully introduced.
Not as a main character though.

Shyness P.O.V

A screech-like noise coming from the man in the blue polo, which startled me a bit, I stepped back warily. Next, a man (identical to the first) strode confidently through the door, he frowned at me for a split second before plastering a smile on his face. Two twins my age ran through the door too, one a girl with blonde-ish brown hair loose around her shoulders, and a boy with the same coloured hair, but the hairstyle was like a mini version of the two men.

Finally, a smaller man in a dark purple clothing, A dark purple ripped shirt under his black jacket, which was fixed with purple patches and white stitches- jet black ripped jeans clung to his legs.I blinked once, I felt like I knew this guy... but from where? Soon a man in a black polo, dusty gold trousers and a neat tie stepped into the room, I looked at him as he pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, I also felt a connection between me and him, like we had already met somewhere.

Patton P.O.V:

"Hello, Kiddo!" I said, trying in vain to hold back the squeals that were trying to escape from inside me, "who are you?" The new trait looked at me warily, "S - Shyness." She said, stuttering a little bit, she swallowed thickly. That makes sense I thought I need to approach carefully. I tactfully let one of my auras out, it was one of my abilities, this aura was made to calm down the person of my choosing, it always worked in panic attacks or arguments. I saw her muscles relax, and she looked attacks me, "Who are you?" She questioned curiously "And why is that dude playing dress - up? She said nodding hear head towards Roman. I heard a sassy grunt come from him before I noticed something hiding inside her hood, the Thing using the hood as a little nest.

"What is that, Shyness?" Virgil asked, pointing to the small shape behind the hood.

"Come here Virge, I'll show ya!" She said to him.

We all stood still in shock, how did she know Anxiety's name!? She looked at Logan, "Salutations, friend, you too may see what I have here." Our jaws almost dropped to the ground, it was like she knew how to speak to those two. Shyness looked at us, I has let my aura wear off a long time ago, but she was so confident with Virgie and Logan! "Uh, you four can come see too... I guess..." she muttered quietly to the rest of us.

3rd P.O.V

Shyness giggled as Lilac jumped from her head onto Virgil's, hopping up and down gleefully. Logan looked between Shyness and Lilac, he had theorised something, but he needed confirmation to carry on with his experiment, "Shyness?" He said, looking said trait's way, as soon as Shyness stopped bouncing on the couch, Lilac did too. "Yes, Logan?" "Does uhh, Lilac represent anything?" Shyness tilted her head, and Lilac mirrored her, "Oh! I comprehend! Lilac seems to represent my emotions very openly, so -for example- if I may not seem to be angry, you can tell because of Lilac's body language, that's the defect of my abilities I guess." Shyness spoke with surprising politeness, which she knew Logan liked. Said trait fixed his tie and mumbled, "Facinating..."

"Yo Virgil?" She called to Anxiety, who was playing with the sleeves of his jacket, "What do ya want, squirt?" He responded rudely, Shyness knew that he didn't mean it, so she just went along with it, "Can I see your abilities?" She asked, she had already seen Logan's which was the manipulation of his body- turning it into any material or gas, or liquid, but they still held the shape of his body, the flaws were that (for example) if he was turned into fire and if water landed on him, it would cause extreme pain. Anyway, Virgil smirked and and splayed out his palm and clicked his fingers, dark purple shadows snaked their way from the tips of his fingers to a space in front of him, the shadows took the form of a staff, a large pointed amethyst on top of it. He grabbed it and held it towards Shyness, secretly proud of his very cool ability, "Awesome! What is its downgrade?" She asked curiously, "My ability's downgrade is, that every ten minutes or so each day, it either malfunctions or gets out of control."

Roman looked at the new girl in a tinge of annoyance, "I slightly dislike her." Roman said, a shocked gasp by his side caught his attention and he swivelled his head to face Patton, "How can you say that?! She's one of us!" Missy was not impressed either, so she (Yes Missy is a girl in my fics) nudged Roman painfully with her sharp elbow, Roman stuck his tongue out at the annoyed twin before continuing, "She is Shyness! For Zeus' sake, Virgil already stops Thomas from dream chasing, but she will stop Thomas from perusing his romances!" Pranks frowned and spoke up, "But you were okay when love, greed, and lust showed up! You've even visited their Mind Palace yesterday!" Roman was about to talk back, but he stayed in annoyed silence. Patton got up and smiled at the three of them, "Let's talk to Shyness, maybe she won't seem so bad then Roman!"

So the four of them walked over to were Logan, Virgil and Shyness were. The first response from her was alarm. "It's okay kiddo! My name is Patton, what's yours?" Lilac was now perched on her shoulder, hopping from foot to foot and stretching their tiny arms out to Patton, wanting to give him a hug. "Uh, I forgot my name, I'll go get the file I made in case of a Mind Wipe." She said, she ran to the room, Lilac holding onto their ear lobe to not fall off. She came back shortly with a neat file, she gave it awkwardly to Patton and sat down, "Why do you have a file?" Princey asked, "Oh, uhh, in case of a Mind Wipe. Efficiency is key" Logan struggled slightly to contain his gasp, he used that quote a lot of times with the Sides. Virgil also took notice and his eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Sofia eh? That's a lovely name!" Shyne- I mean, Sofia ducked her head in what seemed embarrassment, but Lilac stuck her chest out proudly, clearly liking the compliment. "Sofia means wisdom, did you know that?" Logan asked, "I can't say I did, but it would make sense seeming as I'm part Logic part Anxie-" She slapped her hand over her mouth, Lilac pulled their ears over their eyes worriedly. "You're what?????" Pranks questioned, although he already knew the answer. Patton squealed and said, "You're part Logic part Anxiety?! That's so cool!!!!"

I WILL EXPLAIN JUST A SECOND OKAY?! Yes, I took a long time to post, I couldn't think of how to word this chapter, you're now probably thinking, "WHAT ARE THE OTHERS ABILITIES?!" "WHERE ARE THE OTHER TRAITS?!" 1 They will be revealed to you later in the series 2 They are in a seperate Mind Palace, why? Because they are much younger than anyone else ages ranging from 6 to 9 years old, the Sides take turns baby sitting them, their Mind Palace is especially suited to hold young children.

And yes I have done research and have come to my conclusion that shyness IS part logic part anxiety.
