Lucy's p.o.v

I unlocked the front door and pushed it open gently, walking into my house and shutting it behind me "mum, dad I'm home" I called out "okay we're in the living room" my mum shouted back, I nodded forgetting that they couldn't see me and walked into the kitchen, I placed my keys on the table and grabbed an apple out of the fruit bowl which was placed on our breakfast counter "what's for dinner tonight?" I called out to my parents "chicken and rice" my dad shouted back "okay" I called back, I took a few bites out of my apple and then started to walk upstairs to my bedroom, I jumped on my bed and pulled my phone out of my pocket, I pulled up graysons number and decided to message him saying 'hey Grayson, I just wanted to say sorry for rushing out so abruptly, I knew my mum would've wanted me home :/ and also thank you for such a good day, you and Ethan are so nice, we defo have to do this again :)' I smiled at myself and then locked my phone, I then grabbed my laptop from off my desk and clicked on facetime, I scrolled through my recent facetime calls and clicked on Ivan's name, I thought that since I lied to him I should probably spend most my evening talking to him. I did love our facetime chats anyway. I clicked his number and started calling him and within a few seconds he answered "hey beautiful" he said, his adorable face popping up, he had his usual wide smile on his face "heyy" I said back "what did you get up to today then?" He asked, I had to quickly think of another lie and decided to say what I told my parents "oh just hung out with Jessica and Alex at the skatepark for most of the day" I couldn't look him in the eyes as I lied to him so instead I just made it seem like I was fixing a nail. "Oh really? Since when did you go to the skatepark" he laughed, I faked a laugh back as I said "it's my first time going, they became friends with these twins and so they wanted to meet them at the skatepark and wanted to bring me along" I said it as if there was nothing wrong with it, and again couldn't look him in the eyes, he nodded "ah that's cool then, Emilio and I just had a chilled day to ourselves" I nodded, finally looking at him again, relieved that he stopped asking questions "oh really, what was that like?" I asked smiling, he shrugged "it was okay, although Emilio annoyed me and it was boring without you" my cheeks went a light pink and heated up "awe Ivan that's cute, well we can spend tomorrow together, at least that'll get Emilio off your back" I giggled slightly, Ivan chuckled back. Around an hour had passed and I just sat chatting to Ivan, I even stayed on facetime to him whilst I ate my dinner, I had forgotten all about messaging Grayson and had stopped worrying about lying to Ivan, although I soon heard my phone buzz and saw that I had a text message. "who's that" Ivan asked, playing with his hair, I laughed slightly at him as I grabbed my phone to see who had texted me. It was Grayson. "It's just Alex" I said, Ivan nodded and carried on playing with his hair as I read the reply 'Hey Lucy, I had a good time too, and I'm surprised you like Ethan, he can be a real idiot sometimes😂 sorry for not really saying anything when you left, I just didn't expect you to have a boyfriend aha :)x' I smiled at the message, although also had to hold back a sigh, honestly Grayson was really nice and I kinda like him, but I love Ivan and that's how it'll always be. I just replied saying 'aha yeah x' and locked my phone, I looked at the time and saw it was already getting close to 10:00pm "I should probably get going now Ivan, i love you" he sighed but nodded "okay babe, i love you too, goodnight" and with that I ended the call.
