Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying my book so far. Feel free to comment and tell me what you think. This chapter is kinda weird and stops in a weird spot but I wanted to post something. So here it is!

Thanks Loves, read happily!

Joslyn’s POV

The best feeling is waking up in a warm pair of arms. I am not quite sure where I am at first and who is in my bed, but when I turn around to face the figure, I see Cameron.

His arms involuntarily tighten around me, pulling me closer. My face is centimeters away from his when I brush my tips across his cheek.

“Wakey wakey,” I whisper. His eyes flutter and he groans.

“What time is it?” he asks.

Checking my watch I respond, “It’s 8:00.”

He flinches and stares at me, “Really? I have to get ready for the party.”

“Okay, me too.” I say as he gets up and tugs his shorts on. I pull of the t-shirt that he let me wear and hand it to him. “Thanks for coming, you really helped.”

He smiles and pulls the shirt over his head. “No problem. I’d let you keep the shirt, except it might be a little weird walking out of here without a shirt since your mom’s here.” He laughs.

Walking over to me, he pulls me into a hug. “See you at 9?” I offer.

“Yeah,” he says, and then he’s gone.

I’m left standing in nothing but underwear and a bra, when my phone buzzes. I see that it’s Tyler. I open the message and read it.

Hey! Are you going to that party tonight? –x T

I guess a lot of people are going tonight.

Yeah! I’m going with a friend –x J

Cool! I’ll see you there –x T

I walk over to my closet and shuffle through the clothes. I decide to wear a high wasted black skirt and a black lace crop top. I grab my galaxy vans and slip them on.

Looking in the mirror I decide to leave my hair down. I grab my diamond studs for both of my piercings and a gold hoop for my cartilage piercing. I wrap my studded blue watch around my wrist and pull on silver and blue bangles on my other wrist. I decide on a gold-chained necklace with a small diamond bead on it.

I take a step back and check myself in the mirror. My hair is finally dry from my failed shower and is now in loose waves. You can see my black bra through the lace of my shirt, but I like it like that. I grab my small black clutch and drop my phone and house keys into it.

Checking my watch, I notice that its already 9:00. I took a while to get ready. I walk down the steps and yell bye to my mom.

I take a step outside and see Cameron walking up the steps in turquoise khakis and a fresh t-shirt that looks just as soft as the one earlier.

Cam looks up and stops dead in his tracks. His jaw drops and he looks me up and down. I hear him mumble a curse as he slowly begins to walk again.

“You look amazing…” he says to me.

I look down at myself then back to him. “Thank you,” I say with a smirk. I haven’t worn this shirt yet, and I had planned on wearing a tank top under it, but it looks better without one.

“Ready?” he says, reaching out his hand.

“Yep,” I say taking it.

We drive for about ten minutes until we arrive at a big house on the corner, close to the beach. We hop out and meet at the front of the car.
