Chapter 2:
Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Noah or his family, I just don't appreciate being harmed when someone likes me. NO! That's not how a relationship works for me. I have absolutely nothing against Maddie at all.....NOTHING. But now I had to chose who live, dies, or leaves. Its the Wisdom games. They give you clues on where to find things but you have to use weapons and other people use weapons against you. It's basically a deathly scavenger hunt. Except there is only one item so you fight for that item that has the clue on it. We each had a group of 3-4.
My 6th period teacher tells me I have an early dismissal. I don't recall my mom telling me I had to go anywhere so I packed all my things up and entered the office. My mom wasnt there but a black haired man asked me if I was Leyla. I responded yes, then told me to come with him and handed me a card. The card consisted of my name, my age, my gender, my race, and my team. I was mixed in with people from all that I knew to make it harder on us on who we wanted to let live or die. I was apparently the team captain so they gave me the card before everyone else.
My team consited of my best friend Maddie, Noah, and a boy named Adam.We all met up and I was very astonished to see Noah. I relized that we haven't seen or talked to eachother in a while so it was pretty awkward. Me and Maddie were wearing a pink/gray uniform, and Noah and Adam were wearing a blue/gray uniform.
I have never seen Adam but I guess I know him from somewhere. My teams name is Falcon. We all stand up as soon as we here Falcon announced by the lady wearing a dress and a nice pair of high heels. I said hello to Adam as he stood up. His whole name is Adam Harley and he was very unusual but he has brown hair and blue eyes. Maddie my best friend has brown/black hair and brown eyes. Noah has black hair and brown eyes.
We all go to our room and Noah say's that he wants to be my friend again. I, not knowing what to say, being my usual self, say's yeah sure. I am in a cabin with Maddie, then Noah and Adam are in a cabin. Me and Maddie start to talk.
"It was very generous to forgive Noah like that." she says.
"What do you mean.....oh that, yeah I just didn't want to have a bad relationship with someone so."
"I could never do that" she says.
Me knowing Maddie quickly agree to that.
In the early morning I hear people in a large room chanting Falcons. I quickly run out to see what's going on. As I am running I yell "Maddie come on" as I grab my coat. As I enter the room tons of people come up to me and say its your turn. *It's your turn, what the heck does that mean?* I think to myself. Next I see Maddie come running out with her hair in the most perfect fish tail I have ever seen.
"Whats going on!" She exclaims
"Its our turn'' I respond to her
"What does that mean?'' She asks
"I don't know but I bet our team leader would" I say.
"WE HAVE A TEAM LEADER, WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS?' She asks.
"Um I don't know but the bored says we can meet her in the cabin labled XZ, whatever that means" I say.
We get Adam and Noah and head over to the cabin XZ.
