Chapter 7:
Maddie's POV
"Hey Maddie, what's going on." Jack says.
"Oh just getting ready for the fight," I respond.
"Oh umm I umm hope you win." He responds.
"Why so ummish?" I ask.
"It's nothing I just have to go....practice my fighting." He says.
"Oh ok, I want you to win so hurry your butt up." I tell him.
Jack then scurries of. I then see Leyla. She asks me why Jack runs out of here. I told her that he had to go practice. Wait go practice why would you encourage that she asks. Well because he's in our faction. N-. She says before Jack comes running in here like a high maniac and covers her mouth. Hey Maddie I just saw Chrisana or whatever her name is and she is looking for you It's Christina and why I ask. I don't know he responds.
Leylas POV:
I think Maddie and Jack are a cute couple but I don't see why Maddie has a problem with me telling her that he isn't in our faction. Or is it like me and Deven, except I knew.
"Jack what the heck, was that for?" I ask.
"Maddie doesn't know that I'm not in the same faction so she thinks I'm fighting for her not against her, but I still lover her a lot. Leyla could you maybe tell her for me?" He begs.
"I don't know if I help you I'm going to feel good but then I'm going to loose my friendship with Maddie and if I ruin my friendship with Maddie I'm not going to have her as a friend and I can't take that risk." I explain to him.
"Look I understand but I'm begging you please please tell her." He begs again.
"Okay I'm going to tell her but I'm going to mention that you ask me to tell her." I say.
"Ok, ok fine but tell her where no one is around and give her something to break and don't forget to tell her that...." He says while leaving me hanging.
"What?" I ask.
"That I love her!" he turns while looking at me.
"Ok I won't" I tell him.
Maddie's POV.
I don't understand why he came back like that but it didn't matter. Leyla comes back in to talk to me about something.
"Hi Maddie, I umm have to talk about something and I need you to be ok with it." She says.
"Leyla you can tell me anything. But first tell me why you have a vase in you hand." I tell her.
"Umm I like to carry around vases." she says.
I can tell she is nervous because she is tapping her ring on the vase.
"Ok so can you sit down on the bed?" she asks me.
"Yeah, Leyla is this about dating because I can't he-." I say before she cuts me off.
"No it's about Jack." She tells me quietly.
"Is it about why he has been acting so god damn weird." I say.
"No it's umm he's in another faction." she mumbles I think.
"What, Leyla speak up." I yell at her
"Maddie, Jack is in another faction, that's why he has been acting so weird and awkward." she tells
"What?" She says looking confused.
"He says he loves you" she tells me.
"I know and that's why I'm ok with it!" she tells me.
Leylas POV:
It was very hard to tell Maddie the news but the fact she was ok with it. We leave but I go talk to Jack with Maddie.
"Jack she took it perfectly fine!" I tell him the good news.
"Ok great" Jack says
"Yeah honestly I think as long as I love you, you can tell me anything." Jack says.
Ok and we all give each other hugs.
