We finished hugging and we almost walk away when Jack says something.
"Hey Maddie, Leyla can I talk to you guys for a minute?" He asks.
"Um sure, what is it babe?" Maddie says.
"This is really hard and don't take it as an offense or anything and just hear me out, it's been an honor to play in the games with you and Leyla but I'm leaving the games." he tells us
"What, so first your going to be in another faction, then your going to leave the games." She yells.
"It's not your fault, it's Devens fault." he tells me.
"Wait my Deven, Deven Deven, my boyfriend Deven?" I question him.
"Yeah it's just he's blackmailing me saying he's gonna tell on me and Maddie if I don't drop out." he tells me and Maddie.
"Unbelievable, he would never do that." I tell him.
"Your not going to let him do that are you?" Maddie asks.
"Deven didn't do anything ok, Jack is lying!" I scream.
"Don't say that Leyla, you know fully well Jack isn't lying and I can't believe you would say that about Jack. I thought we were friends." She screams back.
"So did I but I'm sorry, I don't think Deven did it. You and Deven are friends Jack. Sorry Maddie I don't believe Jack, and right now! And right now I don't believe you either." I say trying to calm the mood.
"Believe me about what." she screams.
"That we aren't friends. I think we are and you are just saying that because you don't wanna upset Jack." I tell Maddie.
"Jack, JACK this has nothing to do with Jack. It's now about our damn friendship!" She screams at the top of her lungs.
I leave the room fired up and go talk to Deven. He's in the café eating a sandwich.
"Deven, are you blackmailing Maddie and Jack?" I scream in his face.
"No I honestly im not, why." he says calming me down.
"Because that's what Jack says and I told Maddie he was lying." I say finally calm.
"No, even if I did tell they wouldn't have any record of it." he tells me.
"So you are." I say rising my tone again.
"No I'm not I'm just saying." he says.
I walk back to my room and see Maddie sitting in my bed.
"What do you want, remember our damn friendship is over." I yell.
"No it's not, as I leaned in to kiss Jack he wouldn't, so I need you to spy on him for me." She asks me.
"Maddie, look I loved you bu-." I say before Maddie interrupts me.
"Exactly you love me!" she yells in a nice happy tone.
"No, I said I lovED you, but I don't just accept people that easy. I'm going to do this for you, but I don't respect the way you suspected Deven was behind it, which he wasn't." I tell her.
"I know I think he might just be having another relationship besides me." she says looming sad, but not sad enough to cry.
I go and get a sandwhich and see Jack and a hooded guy. I creep around the corner and am able to confirm it is Jack. I quiet myself down and listen to their conversation.
"Look, I don't want to leave, I really don't please." Jack begs.
"Ok then I have these old pictures of you and your ex that I can easily show Maddie, or you can leave." The hooded guy says.
"Ok, ok I'm going to leave in two days, just give me time. Please don't show those to Maddie, I love her." He continues begging.
"I won't!" the hooded guy says.
I then run and attack the hooded guy. I pull of the good to reveal long blonde hair, and take of the mask.
