Kayla Damien is not creaseless. No, in fact, she's an irrelevant sheet of looseleaf that's been scribbled on, crumpled, torn, and held together by a singular paper fiber.
When Kayla steps foot in a new school, she doesn't know what to expect. She's closed-off and damaged and doesn't know what to do with the fresh start life has given her. However, meeting Vik—who is equally as mysterious, closed-off, and damaged—opens her eyes as she's lifted onto her feet again.
"I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a Lego house.
When things go wrong, we can knock it down."
– Ed Sheeran
This story contains:
– very subpar writing (further addressed in upcoming author's note)
– mature themes
– sexual themes
– swearingI wrote this over a year ago and to be honest, it's kind of a mess. The only reason it's still up is because Lego House was my first completed work and I feel obligated to leave it up.
I've tried to edit it and make it slightly better, but I can't bring myself to look at it. I know as more time passes, the harder it'll be to edit, but at this point, I may just let this be.
Also, maybe in a few years' time, I'll look back and laugh at how bad I was and bask in the satisfaction of knowing I improved.
If you would still like to read this mess, be my guest, but you have been warned.
Also, this was originally written as a fanfiction. I have changed some names to make it a teen fiction story, but if you'd like, you can still read it as a fanfiction if you know what it was originally for. If that is the case, disregard the name changes and the following cast.
Date of completion: May 10, 2016
Sofia Carson as Kayla Damien
Danny Pino as Vik Bonth⠀⠀⠀
