Stardust(Voltron Fan/Fic)

  The chains chewed away at my pale skin. The chains never get taken off, not since the accident that happens a lifetime ago. They fear me, that's a great thing for me and for them as they want to use me as a weapon of fear. My whole race was killed off because of them, because they placed use under operations to make us into these... these hybrids. I was the only outcome that was what they needed, everyone else that survived and gained abilities were killed because they're abilities were far much lower than my own.

  But I'm getting ahead of myself. Why don't I start off from the beginning.

  My name is Lilja, lie-lie-ha that's how my name is pronounced. I don't remember having a last name, my memory not being the sharpest when the experiments had started. I was a child when they took my from my mother, maybe a toddler at the time, terrible yes but they had the excuse of saying that "starting young is better". Maybe around six or seven years since my birth my abilities became known, the Galra have since then placed me under some heavy training to be better than a certain someone. But after twenty years since my birth an accident had occurred. I wouldn't be going into detail as the memory is one I've never been too fond of but it was the very reason why the Galra had isolated me and chained me inside the cell like the animal that I am. Since then the chains have slowly been eating the flesh under the chains.

  That was some time ago. Time is something that is fantasy in this cell. If I were to guess I've probably be twenty-four, but like said before, time is a fantasy in this cell.

  Any second now would the grand door across from me open just the slightest where some Galra Warrior would walk in with a tray of food but not even dare to get near me as they'd just stay at a distance and push the door towards me. Then they'd leave.

  But today was different. No one came inside. The door remained closed, not ever opening. The Galra Warrior is never late, as much fear as I strike into their hearts they'd never want to weakened my strength or starve me because they've never wanted me to die. I'm their greatest weapon.

  I was starting to get nerves and scared. My long white ears hearing my heart starting to race the longer the door stayed closed. Maybe something happened? I thought. But the Galra is huge, if someone or something attacked the base then it must be huge and dangerous. Those thoughts didn't do anything to help me calm my nerves, they only made me more scared.

  My white fluffy tail tried to wrap itself around my but the chains wrapped around it dwindled for my tail to move any more than an inch or two. My ears dropped in a act of sacredness, not knowing what would happen next.

  What if I'm forgotten and stuck here? The sudden thought clouded her mind, only bringing in more and more worse thoughts. What happens if everyone was killed? What if the people or things that invaded are going to blow this place up? Am I going to die? I-I don't want to die.

  My head had snapped up when hearing something. The tests that were ready to spill stopped as footsteps could be heard approaching the door. My heart only raced even more as my mind raced trying to think of what to do next. I'd loved nothing more than to be released from these chains, to become something small and hide from whatever might open the door and come inside this cell.

  The footsteps had stopped right in front of the door. I could hear the door slowly start to open, I was scared out of my mind. My body froze in fear, my mind racing faster than any creature in the universe. In a last resort I slumped, pretending to be asleep just as he door opened.

  My ears could hearing breathing, it wasn't light nor too hard, just about right in between. When breathing in a smell of wonders came to my nose. The smell wasn't like how the Galra Warrior's smelled like, this scent was fresh with something just added into the mix that I had to restrain myself from wagging my tail in delight.
