You clutched Sammy's arm and let out a kind of growl. You didn't know this character, but if Sam and Dean had, it usually meant bad news. Although they hadn't made a move to get any weapons, whoever this was, they were in your room.
Cass continues to stare at you, then looks to the boys, and sits on the edge of the bed. "Do you mind giving us a moment, Dean, Sam?" His gruff voice mutters, and his eyes drift back towards you.
You tighten your grip on Sammy, looking at him nervously.
He grabs your hand and smiles faintly, rubbing his thumb over it reassuringly. "Don't worry," he whispers, "Cass isn't one of them." He lets go, and both Sam and Dean leave you with..him.
Cass leans forward slightly, crossing his arms to rest in his legs loosely. "Would you mind telling me how you came to be so well acquainted with the Winchesters?"
Your smartass personally comes back up to the surface to cover your suspicious mood. "More like how'd I get two children to look after." You roll your eyes and an uncomfortable laugh comes from Cass, startling you.
"Sorry," he mutters, "don't do that often." He motions with his hand for you to continue, and you sigh, taking a seat next to the coffee table, prying open a bottle of jack. It's gonna be a long night, indeed.

After an hour of silence, you eventually downing the bottle with Cass looking on, you stand suddenly and almost trip over yourself. He stands, and is instantly next to you, reaching out to steady you-
"Don't you fuckin' touch me, you fuck." You slur slightly, twisting away from him. Your southern accent comes out, one you hide when you can, but right now you could give a damn.
He looks slightly amused, but it's gone in a flash, and you wonder if it was even there. You wobble over to the bed and lay out on it, stomach down, face in the pillows.
"Go 'head n ask, prick." You mumble into the cotton, and you hear him shuffle his feet uneasily.
"Start with wherever you feel is best." He says gently, sitting on the edge of the bed again.
So, the beginning it is.

A/N-
The next chapter is a flashback & summary of what happened. The following chapter is what you explain to Cass; it's just simpler to explain what happened in this fashion rather than in a conversation.
