"Hey! Kid! Wait for me!" Little Y/n says as she scampers after the mentioned red head.

"Well then run faster! Were gonna miss it!'' Kid exclaims running towards the town.

"Kid we should wait for Y/n-kun." A gentle voice started beside the red head.

"But Killer she's too slow" Kid complained. Killer gave an look of disapproval." Tch. Fine. Lets go Shortie" Kid gave in and waited for the little girl to catch up with them.

"You three be safe! Were only stopping here for supplies!" Shanks yelled from the ship.

"Hai!" The three called in union, running further into the island.

"Those brats, always getting into trouble." Shanks pouted, complaining to himself.

"What can you do. They're kids after all. I just wish I could be there for my own." Captain Rogers spoke from beside.

"I know what you mean. But I'm not even her father. Im sure I shouldn't be the one to raise them." Shanks sighs. "Where is that man and his responsibilities." Shanks wonders before going back to his duties as a pirate.

"Kid what are we doing at a junk yard...again." You question, walking around the crowded area. Trash and unwanted goods were sprawled out across the yard.

"Its not junk Y/n. Its valuable material. Look, most of this stuff is in really good condition." He explains, picking up metal tools and flat material to work on with later. Killer was looking through the stuff as well, though not as absentmindedly as Kid. Kid practically dug up a small portion of a pile he was getting at. Tossing things aside that he didn't need.

"Hey! You kids better get out of my junk yard ya hear!" An old man came out, waving his fist at us. He had a dog tied to a leash in his hands. Its bark carrying venom.

"Uh oh. Looks like our time to get out of here." Killer says in a gentle demeanor.

"Aww! But I was just getting to the good stuff. This old man should be thanking me for taking all this stuff off his hands." Kid grumbles, looking up from his pile of nicknacks.

"Kid, Killer. The dog looks very nasty. We should leave." You hesitate, shaking a little as you grab onto Kid's arm.

"Ha! Like I'd be afraid of a lil' pup like that. I ain't leaving till I get everything I need." Kid shakes your hands off his as he continues his search in the dump.

"Perhaps it would be best to leave." Killer sides with you.

The dog barking madly in the mans grasp, spit and foam dripping down his teeth and mouth.

"You kids scram! Leave right now!" The old man persists.

"Fine. You two are no fun. I have what I need anyways, no use staying with this annoying man." Kid states, packing his treasures in a blanket and throwing it over his shoulder.

The dogs iron tug was no match for the old man though and he tore from his restraints.

"You kids get out of here fast!" The old man yelled trying to warn you of the incoming danger.

"Calm down gramps, were leaving!" Kid shouted nonchalantly.

Just then the massive dog lunged at you. Everything went all so fast, you screamed before falling down at the paws of the canine, eyes shut closed.

You were expecting excruciating pain, but you felt nothing. You opened your eyes to stare in shock at the scene in front of you. Kid had taken the blow for you. He stood unfazed infront of you, the mad dog tearing at his arm as it bit down on it.
