The next day after school, I drove into the clubhouse's lot. Mom was sitting on her bike with Chibs next to her. She waved as soon as she got sight of me.

"You headin' out? Or just comin' back?" I yelled out of my window.

"Just comin' back." She yelled back as she took off her helmet, her hair long and wild as always. I grabbed my backpack and started towards the two.

"I'm gonna do some homework here. The house was too quiet." I muttered before stepping back to walk inside.

Mom followed. "Okay, kid. We have church so we won't bother you."

With a huff, I closed my economics book and pushed it away. I rubbed my eyes from the fatigue and sighed. "Christ." I muttered.

I looked behind me and stared at what was going on in the closed room. Through the windows, I saw Chibs at the head of the table, and Mom with her back to me, then I saw Luke at the opposite end. His head turned and we made eye contact. Blushing, I turned away quickly and packed my backpack.

"We haven't had a run in with ATF in so long. I don't see any reason why they'd come at us." Tig muttered.

"Well," I began. "We took Luke in. If ATF catches wind of that, they'll call FBI and we'll have them kicking in our doors."

Chibs nodded, agreeing. "Yeah. Luke, you have to lay low for awhile." We all looked at Luke, who was staring out the window at Keegan. She was packing her bag quickly, looking back every few seconds.

"Hey!" Tig snapped his fingers to get his attention.

Luke snapped his neck back to us and cracked his fingers. "Yeah. I hear you. I have the cash stashed away. They're probably hounding my ex, wondering where I am."

"Does she know?" Cash asked.

Luke shook his head. "Only the Fort Worth charter."

I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. I pulled a cigarette out of it's carton, then threw the carton on the table. "Where're you stayin' at the moment, Luke?"

He shrugged. "Some Motel 6."

"Well change your plans. You'll be staying at Tig and I's place. We have a guest room you can take over." I took a drag on the cigarette. Tig shot me a look.

"Why can't he just stay in one of the rooms in the back?" Tig asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Because if ATF or FBI come here, and sees we're hiding a convicted felon in the most obvious place, we're in deep shit. We have better luck picking up shit by it's clean end in this situation."

It was silent for a minuet before Luke nodded his head. "She's right. I'll pack my shit and follow y'all home."
