GOSH! I’m SO SORRY you probably all hate me right now for just going AWOL like that! I am soo sorry. Just got a bit manic as I had to pick up some extra shifts at work this month, and then we were of on vacation and I didn’t have wi-fi.

Chapter 11:

Baby Just SAY YES.

 “C’mon Bella,” she said, “Let’s get out of here. These places are depressing.”

Isabella chuckled, and as they were about to walk out of the store, approaching from across the road who should she see but the one who . . .

“Uh oh,” Mirella said, freezing in position, and grabbing on to Isabella’s arm,

“You see him too?” Isabella asked, shaking.

Mirella slowly nodded, “What in God’s name is he doing here?” . . . .

Isabella froze.

“Pinch me” she whispered, “this has to be a dream”

She stared at him, seeing him after so long like a vision.  Suddenly, he looked up, his eyes met her own. She could feel them burning through her. Reading her like a book. Discerning her every thought. How was he able to do this to her?

He started walking towards the two girls . . .

“Isabella,” he greeted, “It’s so good to see you,”

She smiled weakly.

“It’s good to see you too,” she replied honestly, she’d missed him.

“I know that I owe you a huge explanation,” he began, “I don’t know what to say. I guess I thought that I was protecting us both by leaving. I didn’t want to get in to deep only to get my heart broken later. I wanted to get out while it was still okay, but …”

Tears were now streaming down her cheeks.

“I realised I can’t live without you,” he continued, “and even if it means I will get my heart broken in the future, I’ll take it. I want to spend as much time with you as I can. I don’t want to waste another second being without you.”

“I can’t believe you ran from me,” she said, “but I missed you more,” she said, taking his hands in her own, “I’m so glad you’re back.”

“I love you, Isabella,” he pulled her into a hug.

“I love you too, Leonardo,” she tightened her arms around him.

“Do me a favour?” he asked.

She nodded, “Anything,”

“Make me the happiest man alive. . . “ he said, “…. Go back into that shop. Pick out a ring.  Spend an eternity and more with me…”

He got down onto one knee, and looked up at her.

“I love you Isabella. I can’t imagine my life without you. Please say yes. Say you’ll spend forever with me? Be my wife. I want to love and cherish you forever. Every day from now on until I die. Make my wish come true?”
