Flashback

"Babe... we need to talk..." He kept looking towards the floor.

"What's the matter, Davey?" I asked, taking his hand.

"So, y'know about that letter I got yesterday?" Davey held my hand tightly.

"Yeah... What about it?" I asked.

"Well, it was from Impact Wrestling. They offered me and Eddie a tag team contract" He finally looked up at my face.

"That's great, baby! When do you start?" I smiled.

"I fly out to Canada tomorrow. I'll be away from home from now on" He frowned.

"Forever?" I felt tears come to my eyes.

"Forever" He replied, holding me close to him.

"I'll still call you everyday baby girl" His voice broke.

"Davey" I started. "Are you leaving now?" I asked.

He sadly nodded. Tears fell down his face as he started to stand up.

He went in our room and packed his stuff. He held a jacket on his arm. His lucky hoodie.

"I want you to have this, darling" He handed it to me.

I put it on, and he had a sad smile on his face.

"It looks better on you anyways" He hugged me again.

"Davey... I don't want you to go" I started to cry again.

"I really wish I didn't have to, darling, but this is my big break" Davey held me tighter, kissing me after he broke the hug.

"I have to go now" He looked at the ground again.

He kissed me passoinately, and hugged me again before starting towards the door.

"Bye, Davey" I waved.

"Goodbye darling" He waved back.

"I love you so much" I said, tears falling down my face.

"And I love you more" He smiled.

The smile I fell in love with. The smile I'm seeing for the last time.

He walked out the door, and I watched as his car pulled out of the drive.

Forever.

Now, two years later, I'm in Tampa for my Impact Wrestling debut.

Me and Davey lost contact about six months after he left. He quit answering except for the occasional "I love you" texts, that I always replied to.

But, even that stopped a little while after.

I watched him every Thursday on TV. Never missed a thing.

I still love him.

I stepped out of my rental car, and start into the arena to meet Dixie Carter.

"We have a trainer set up for you, he should be here any minute. He'll show you around, tell you where to put your things, and he should pretty much know the basics of the company if you have any questions" She smiled.

"Thanks" I smiled.

She walked away, and I sat to the side, waiting for my trainer.

While I was waiting, I saw him get into the ring and look around.

Before I knew what I was doing, I was running full speed to him. I went under the rope and tackled him in a hug.

"Davey! Davey I'm so glad to see you! I've missed you so much! Oh my god" I held him tightly.

I felt tears come to my eyes, as he wrapped his arms around me and held me just as tight.

"Darling, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I debut tonight! I finally did it!" I smiled, kissing him on the cheek.

"You still wear that jacket" Davey laughed.

I was wearing the hoodie he gave me.

"The lucky hoodie" We said at the same time.

"I missed you so much" Davey held me tight again.

Finally, he pulled me close to him and kissed me passionately.
