Levi and Sebastian had stayed behind to finish cleaning up, they were walking out with the sun setting to their left, making everything glow golden, Sebastian glanced down at Levi and smiled, with the sunlight reflecting off her hair and eyes and making her skin glow she really did look quite lovely, he went to say something but was cut off by a woman running up and curtsying quickly "Ma'am, I have been asked to give this to a Lady Cagliostro, have you seen her about?" the woman held up a neatly wrapped parcel, Levi nodded "yes, that would be me" the package was shoved into her hands and the woman sprinted off, stumbling several times, Levi raised an eyebrow at her behavior, Sebastian was just as confused but refused to admit it.
Levi waited until they were back at the manor and she was up in her room to open the package, It was a golden hand mirror, the back was imprinted with delicate spiderwebs and the center was set with an ebony rose, the glass seemed to have a strange glow to it, she set it carefully on her bedside table before rolling over.
Morning came silently, no Mei Rin breaking things, no Explosions, No trees crashing through her window, and no Sebastian with her list of chores, only Pluto, who had taken to sleeping on her stomach, was there, a muffled knock filled the room, it sounded like it was several rooms away and yet right next to her at the same time, Pluto's snores were muffled as well, everything was, she sat up and looked around, the room was cold and the colours more dulled than they should be, there was the familiar click as the door opened but when she glanced over it was still closed, a flash of colour passeded across the corner of her eye, the mirror she had gotten sat on the dresser, in it's reflection she saw somebody walk past, light brown hair falling in a slight wave to her waist, tied back with the same fabric as her maid uniform, light grey eyes focused on the smiling butler in the doorway, when she looked away from the mirror none of these were there, she looked at the mirror again, both were qalking ot of the room, she followed.
