"Okay guys, is everyone set?" Hercules asked, looked at the window.
"Yup" everyone chimed back. I glared at Hercules. "Herc, why can't I sit in the front? I'm your sister. I'm not a child." You said folding your arms.

"That my dear Cookie, is because one, you are the youngest, and two is because you are a midget." Hercules said, turning on the engine of the car. I pouted and looked to my left. Alex sat on my right and John sat to my left. And if course, Lafayette sat in the front. Beside Hercules.

I saw John looking outside at the view. I took the chance to look at a him. He was adorable. I set myself a challenge and tried to count all of his freckles. I didn't realize it, but Alex and Lafayette were snickering and silently fangirling. But then by the time I realized they were staring, John caught me staring at him.
It was hella awkward.

"Hey, why is everyone laughing?" Hercules asked, looking at the car mirror. "N-nothing." You flushed and looked at the floor. Silence. And there was more silence. And even more silence. And more-

"So how many were there..?"  John asked.
"W-what..?" I asked, turning to see his face again.
"How many freckles did you count?" He asked, smiling at me again.
"I- I uh- wait- how-?" I stammered like an idiot. "Don't think I didn't see you counting my famous freckles."
At this point, Lafayette and Alex were laughing so hard that if you could die of laughter, they'd be a bunch of bones already.
"onehundredandseventyeight.." I mumbled in a jumble. "Pardon? ( me are you Aaron Burr, sir?)" John asked again, this time lowering his voice. "One hundred and seventy eight" I said louder this time.
"I had no clue I had at least that much freckles." John chuckled before looking out at the scene again.
Silence.
Silence.

"Hey (Y/N) , how's mom and pa?" Hercules asked, taking a left turn. "Oh! Mom and pa are alright. Mom is trying to convince pa to get a cat, but pa wants a dog." I said, relieved that the silence was no longer needed.
"Which ever we get, I'm naming it cookie." Hercules giggled like a fangirl.
"B-but I thought I was Cookie..?" I pouted, trying to sound adorable.
"You'll always be Cookie." Hercules smiled, and stopped in front of the traffic light.

"Why is 'er nickname Cookie?" Lafayette asked. "Is it because she's sweet?~~" Alex said smoothly.
"ALEX DONT YOU DARE WITH MY SISTER! BUT YES! Yes it is." Hercules boomed.
"And it's because she's smol, like a cookie." Hercules added. "isitalsobecauseshescute..?"
"What was that turtle?" Herc asked. "Nothing." John replied, before turning back to the window.
