(Y/N)'s P.O.V

Dinner was an awkward situation. That's all I have to say.

Basically what happened was,

Hercules was too shy to say anything.
Alex was awkward around me and John because of PADWATT
Lafayette was too busy enjoying his food to even tell me what he likes.
And John just kept looking at me. (Not complaining or anything...)

So basically, I was the only one that shared my thoughts and likes and dislikes.

"Hey Herc, Since all of us are done eating. Can we leave the table..?" I wiped the napkin over my mouth and places it down on my plate. Alex looked amazed at my manners.

"No need to ask me. When you're done you can run off into the distance." Hercules gestured me to go away. I nodded, put my plate in the sink, and ran back to the room.

I flopped onto the bottom-bunk and stared at the top bunk. My mind fluttered through the events of the day.

I'm finally going to college. Wow. Um, Yay me!

My thoughts were interrupted by the door opening. John walked in, hands in pocket. He acknowledged me lying on the bed and he climbed up to the top bunk.

There was a few moments of silence.

"So... Me, Herc, Laf and Alex are going out. Wanna join us?" John asked, still sitting on the top-bunk.

"Well, I should really unpack... but eh whatever." I got up slowly. "Sure"

John beamed with the power of a thousand suns and hopped off the top-bunk. My heart fluttered a little before grabbing my phone and flower crown. I ran to the mirror and started combing out all of the tangles. With the occasional "OW", I managed to smooth out my (H/L) hair. I carefully placed the flower crown on my head like I usually would and smoothed out my shirt.

PERFECT

I hopped out of the room, phone in hand, and charged into the living room.

Hercules was helping Lafayette tie a bun, While Alex was trying to explain to John that PADWATT was just a misunderstanding. I giggled lightly before clearing my throat.

"AHUURM, When do we leave?" Hercules stopped to look at me.

"Now" he said, grabbing the door knob and swinging the door open. Everyone, including me, darted out of the apartment.

We were halfway walking to the party. The party was a "kings college student party only" kind of thing. Apparently, the party was hosted by some girl named Maria Reynolds.

It was only when it started to get colder that I realized I forgot my jacket.

"Herc," I quickened my pace to catch up with him. "I'm cold."

Hercules shrugged. "Too bad."

I frowned. "Can I have your jacket? Please?"

"No"

"But you're my brother"

"So?"

"..."

I fell to the back of the pack, or as I like to call. The mighty midgets.

John probably noticed me and Herc's conversation, because if he didn't he wouldn't have had lent me his jacket.

"Here"-he said, handing me his Turtle print jacket-"I'll let you wear it for now"

I looked at him stunned. "Well, um, thank you, but what about you?" I asked, holding the jacket.

"Well, I can handle a little bit of cold." He said, but I could tell he felt cold.

"We can maybe share? If the jacket is big enough." I asked, only to regret asking it.

STUPID, STUPID, STUPID,

"I'm not sure we both can fit under the jacket, but it's worth a shot." John shrugged.

"It won't matter if you both can or can't fit under that jacket because we're already here." Alex interrupted. I stopped in my tracks and looked up.

We were standing in front of an average sized house. Even from outside, you could here the loud talking and occasional screams of what I assume are college kids.

Hercules pressed the doorbell, and the house went dead quiet. The door slowly swung open, to reveal a sleepy looking girl.

"Hm? Can I help you- OH WAIT!" Her sleepy face brightened up. "I thought you were my father, COME ON OUT GUYS ITS JUST THE REVOLUTIONARIES- And some girl." The people in the house popped out of random places and started talking and partying again.

I scratched the back of my head nervously. Hercules introduced me to the brown haired girl. "Maria, this is my sister
(Y/N) Mulligan" Maria nodded and welcomed us in.

"Enjoy the party!" She called to us, before disappearing into the party . The party was packed. I could see a really tall dude with fluffy hair and the back of the room, talking with some other girl. Beside the tall guy was a shorter man, who looked slightly jealous.

"Oh, (Y/N)! You've got to meet the Schuyler sisters!" Hercules shouted, dragging me into the crowd. "They're great."

Hercules dragged me to the corner of the room, and I saw three girls there. John and Alex were already there. Alex and the blue-dressed-girl were shamelessly flirting with with each other. John and the yellow-dressed-girl were talking to each other.

My heart dropped a little. Wait- why? It's not like me and John are dating or anything. So why do I feel jealous? Probably because I'm stupid.

"(Y/N), I'd like to introduce you to the Schuyler sisters!"
