Can't keep my eyes off of you

The meet up

Dinah's Pov

It's 10:45 am, I'm just now putting on my shoes cause I'm heading to go meet up with Lauren.

I grab my phone and my keys and walk over to Normani and kiss her head.

"Where you going?" She grumbles

"I'm going to meet up with Lauren and talk, I will be back baby" I say

She nods and closes her eyes and goes back to sleep.

I run down stairs and head to my car and drive to the park.

I get to the park and my heart is honestly beating out of my chest.

My face hurts less today than it did yesterday but I'm scared if I say something wrong she might make it hurt again.

I see a girl with raven black hair leaning on the tree to the tree house so I knew it was Lauren.

"Hey" I say kinda nervous like

She looks up at me with upset and mad type look.

She turns and climbs up the ladder that lead up to the tree house and I follow behind her.

"What do you want Dinah?" She said

"I wanted to apologize" I say

"An apology can't really fix everything" she says harshly

I frown and look down but then look at her in the eyes .

"Look Lauren, I know I fucked up and I know I don't deserve Normani and I know I'm so lucky that she forgave me, when she should have just left me but look I'm coming to conclusion that I messed up and I will do anything to gain Normani's trust back but I also wanna get my best friend back" I say with a tear running down my cheek

She sighs and runs her fingers through her hair.

"It's fine Dinah...I'm really hurt but I need my best friend more than anything. It might take some time to fully forgive you...even though I beat your ass...that's not the point, anyway you get what I'm saying." She said

I stand up and pull her up with me and pull her into my embrace as soon as she is on her feet.

After we hug, we talk and I tell her about everything that happened last night with me and Normani but i decided to go back to see Normani.

When I get back home, I walk upstairs to my room.

I open my door and see Normani sitting on the bed on her phone, when she hears the door and sees me she smiles.

I walk over to the bed and sit on the other side and get under the covers with her.

She scoots over to me and lays on me and sighs as she relaxes her body on to mine.

"I missed you" she mumbles

"Baby I was only gone for a couple of hours" I say while I kiss the top of her head

"Shut up, I know that but still" she says while poking my stomach softly

I laugh and kiss her.

As we lay there, I hear soft snoring coming from Normani.

I smile and kiss her head, as I think about how lucky of a girl I am to be in the position I am in.

I messed up and I know it was stupid of me but I'm gonna work my butt off to get her to trust me again.

I'll do whatever it takes.

I know it's a really short chapter but I'm not at a good mindset right now. I know that I've made y'all wait but please bare with me. I will update in a couple days if I'm feeling better mentally.
