Powerpuff Girls: A New Beginning

Bubbles

One day, Bubbles was playing with her most precious toy, Octi, a purple octopus that was the first toy she received after she and her sisters were born from that explosion in the Professor's lab. She then placed Octi down near Boomer's play area for safe keeping. Now Boomer had a similar toy in the form of a green caterpillar with red horns which he named Hemlich. He had just put him back in the toy box and was making sure every toy was picked up. Usually he was extra careful to never break any toy that his girlfriend loved. On this particular occasion, however, Boomer accidentally grabbed Octi by mistake and before he realized it had ripped all 8 of his tentacles off. Hoping that no one including Bubbles had noticed, he took the doll back to the lab for the Professor to fix. Unfortunately, Bubbles discovered one of the missing tentacles and had a major meltdown of tears. When Boomer came back to the room, he saw Bubbles crying and immediately sized up the situation. "Bubbles, there's something I have to confess. I'm the one who accidentally killed Octi. But if it makes you feel better, I have him with me, good as new." He presented Octi to Bubbles and reattached the missing tentacle. The minute afterwards, Bubbles perked up and hugged her favorite toy close to her heart. "Oh, Boomer. That is probably the nicest thing you've ever done for me." Boomer then did something unexpected; he dimmed the lights, switched on the radio and composed a song that touched Bubbles deeply. (See song above for reference) When he finished, Bubbles giggled harder then she ever did before and both she and Boomer kissed. Not far away, a red demon-like creature known only as Him sized up the situation. "Mojo, I know you are to blame for this insolence. Mark my words you chimp chump, you're going to pay for this."
