I was pretending ; I lied,
I wrapped the truth; tied—
covering my flaws
covering the claws—
the claws of embarrassment
the scars, my pure love was shattered,
he did, he scattered it
I wasn't sure if he would understand why I hide the truth.
"Uh.. Hello?" Holy-.. I forgot to respond, idiot.
She responds. "Sorry if it took me so long to answer."
"Who are you again...?"
"Matthew... I'm Matthew" No.... Way... NO WAY!
"I'm sorry, I have to go..."
"So you were her then. I'm sorry if I break our promise, we're already in the top, but it went downhill.."
"AND THAT'S BECAUSE OF YOU, LEAVE THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" Garnet slammed her laptop down, almost breaking it.
I feel so stupid..
