SYNOPSIS:
"For him, she was adrenaline."

Winter McHalen seems to have everything: parents who own a multi-billion dollar company, two handsome brothers who just happen to get the loving-brothers genes, and a ridiculously beautiful look.
One summer afternoon, however, a six-year-old Winter was kidnapped by her father's former rival and was traumatised into being mute. Ten years later, the current sixteen-year-old Winter still struggles to come to terms with her dark past.
When she crosses path with the mysterious Rohan Garrison: heir to neighbouring international corporation, student council president, and a perfect gentleman who seems to be harbouring much more secrets behind his stoic facade; the two keep finding themselves tumbling into each other's lives - with or without their own will.
He is aloof yet affable, she is bold yet reserved; he is neither a protector nor predator, she is neither a badass nor damsel-in-distress; but they are two qualities - both coexisting at the same time and are unpredictable variables in each other's lives.
And they both don't know whether to like or despise it.
Watch Winter as she journeys into adulthood and tries to get back the voice which she lost. With both existing as naturally opposing forces, can Rohan - with the help of her family, friends, and possibly other love interests - save Winter from her past, or will she be trapped forever in her affliction?
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Hey guys :) I know some of you are going to kill me for posting another story while my other one is still ongoing - but I'm under a lot of exam stress lately so I thought "to hell with studying! I'm just gonna post something new on Wattpad and see what happens." XD
So anyway this is something I've had in my laptop for quite some time (originally written as a fanfiction for a secret thing). The first time I wrote this — other than to obviously express my great love for fiction — was actually to explore the subject of mental health which I aspire to study further in the future, so WARNING:this book will contain sensitive matters relating to mental illness that are written with (hopefully) credible academic research, carefully embedded in its plot and characterisation.
But other than that, thank you so so so much for deciding to click on this book and give it a chance! :D I can't promise that you won't regret it but I can promise you that each word written in this book is carefully thought of with passion and love for writing and an attempt at bringing to life my appreciation for literature. Please read and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
And please comment or send me a message to tell me what you think <3 Thank you! :)
