ASHLEY

Immediately a walker tries to climb in, and once again tried to get a grip of my hair. But I resist, and duck away.

"You ok?!?" Sean asks.

"Yeah. Don't worry about me. Keep driving!" I yell to him.

Batting the end of my gun up, at any of the body's that dare to get in. I can tell that Sean thinks I'm going to die.

"I'll be alright!!! Just keep driving!!!" I try to ease his tension.

He looks at me with worry in his eyes, and hesitantly nods quickly.

I focus in on the right time to climb up to the top of the truck. Looking one last time to, the safest place right now. I put one leg on the seat and the other at the top of the seat, and jump up.

When I get to the top of the truck, my nostrils began to burn from the smell of rotting old bodies.

The walkers instantly climb my way, and reach for my ankles. My shot gun is fully loaded, I start shooting at the ones close to my ankles. Kicking them off the truck.

I look around for a quick second, seeing walkers come from afar. That isn't good. But I do see the end of this mess a little ways from here.

"Sean!!!!"

"Ya??"

"I can see the end of this hell zone! It's- a little - far- ugh- ahead!" I notify him, while trying to keep my balance, and fighting of walkers, from a top of Sean's truck.

"Ok, thanks! But how are you doing?!?!?"

Shooting and hitting the walkers that dare come close to me is becoming harder by the second. "There's, walkers-ugh!!!- coming from - uh- from the inside of the- agh- forest. Other than that I'm-...AAHH!!"

A walker grabs me from the behind of my ankles, and pulls me down to the trunk of the truck. I smack down hard on the metal, "UGH!"

I start to wince from my injuries, now having a new one from landing on the truck with my left shoulder.

My shaky hands move up to my shoulder, and grips it hard. "Oww..." I whisper to myself knowing I'm going to die from the walkers surrounding me.

I look up to the gray sky, and realize that I need to get to my family. I began to grow angry. My head started to shake, and grew red.

I looked at the walkers around me, and kicked at their poisonous heads. I gritted my teeth and looked for my shot gun.

"Hello?? Where-" I heard Sean gasp as he laid his eyes on me from the inside of the truck. He stopped rapidly, and I saw him reach down for something.

My train of thought got lost, when a walker came into the truck reaching for my head. I kicked the walkers harder, trying to make my way clear to look for my gun.

I moved my head around, searching for my gun. I inched towards the front of the truck trying to get away from the walkers in the back, with my hand still on my shoulder.

Blood splattered on my face, when I heard a gun shot from above. I looked at the walkers that were coming at me, and they were all dead. Blocking the way for the other walkers to get through.

"Here. Take my hand!"

I looked up, and saw Sean reaching toward me with a rifle in his other hand.

"Come on it's the only shot you have left to live. Take it!!" He shouted to me shaking his hand.

I reached for his hand with my left hand, still covering my shoulder with my right.

I felt a sharp pain come from all places, as he pulled me up.

"See that wasn't so bad. Now get in hurry!" he commanded.

I slid into the truck, squirming my way to the passenger seat. To make room for Sean to drive.

I heard 3 gun shots, before Sean jumped in behind me. The first thing he did when he got in, was reach up to the sun roof's window and slammed it shut. Before any other walkers could attack.

"What an adventure was that. Now your even more hurt." he chuckled.

I smiled down to the truck when he laughed. Feeling embarrassed.

"Let's get out of this mess now."
