ASHLEY

I woke up to the car not moving.

No rumbling, walkers, nothing... Just silence.

I adjusted myself, and found myself laying down across the whole seat of the truck.

"Weird..." I softly whispered to myself.

How did I get here? Where was Sean?

I slowly pushed my right elbow back, to hold me up.

As soon as I got up head started to hurt like crazy. All these sharp pains started punching holes in my head. It was excruciating pain!

"UGGH!" I hit my forehead with my wrist, and the back of my head landed on the handle of the door.

In an instant I shoved both my hands to the back of my head. Holding it tightly as my eyes were shut tight.

Suddenly the door by my head swung open.

I reached for my gun, from my pants, and unlocked it ready to shoot at my target. I pointed towards the open door.

"Woah, woah..." his hands gesturing to lower the gun, "It's just me."

I looked up and saw Sean standing there. I let out a soft sigh. Rolling my eyes I locked my gun and let my arm and the gun drop straight down on to my stomach.

"Oh my gosh Sean, you scared me!"

"Hmm... Sorry." He chuckled a bit. "Hey, are you ok? You kind of just knocked out, a few miles back down the road."

When he said that I remembered everything I dreamed about, only realizing that I'm awake, not on my board, and a long way from home. I wasn't alive on the snow anymore. I was alive in a truck, and

I didn't even know where I am.

He noticed my hesitation, "Hello? You ok?"

I shook out of silence, "Ya," I paused and tried to move, "I'm just in a lot of pain." I let out with my voice tighter. "Where are we anyways?"

"Oh, here let me help you." he leaned over and grabbed under my knees, and put support with his other hand on my upper back.

He lifted me up and took me to the back of his truck.

I rested my head on his chest. I felt his breathing, and heard his heart beat. It was quiet but steady. I took a deep breathe in.

For some reason I could smell axe. How could he still smell this good, when the world is overrun with walkers?

I laughed a bit, and Sean looked down at me with confusion, "What? Did I do something wrong?" he asked confused.

"No, it's nothing." I chuckled my answer.

He stopped walking and faced the trunk of his truck. There was a blanket on the floor of the truck, and two water bottles with two slices of bread near the very back.

I looked up at him with confusion starting to get a little angry. "Sean where are we?"

"How about you take a look your self."

He set me down on one end of the truck, and jump on to the other getting out of the way.

That's when I saw everything...
