That night after Austin and I finished our farm work, we sat on the sofa watching Transformers. "Ya know, some of the military shit isn't realistic in this movie." Austin whispered. "Oh. Is it worse or better than the real thing?" I said back. "You could take it either way. Depending on what branch your looking at.", "Oh. Well i'm looking at Army smarty-pants." I giggle as I said it. "They seem worse in the movie." He said. "What do you mean?" "Well obviously in real life you would be getting attacked by frickin' robots, Ash!" The sarcasm in his voice sounded like he was a lost puppy. "No Dip Sherlock!" I said back as I punched him in the thigh. "Ouch! What the fuck was that for?" He squeeled as he starting rubbing his thigh. "For leaving me last year to rot while you went into the Air Force." I smirked. "Hey, you ended up with Isaiah, and you two were a happy couple." "Were?" I asked. Did he mean Isaiah didn't want to be with me anymore? Could he have talked to him before about this? I don't know, but my thoughts were interupted by Austin. "No no no no. I didn't mean it that way. You are, you ARE a happy couple." He said saying the 'are' loudly. "Oh, right." I said doubt every bit of it.
At the end of the movie I Austin turned off the TV and we just sat there. I layed down on the sofa letting my head rest on his lap. My thoughts trailed of when he said "goodnight hun.".....
