We were on the way home from the concert, and I really didn't have much to say. It was dark already, which happened to make me tierd. I turned the radio down a little bit, so I couldn't hear Rodney Atkins voice when he sang 'These are my people', only the soft toon of guitars and violins could be heard.

"Hey Austin,....." I said, with a yawn that interupted my sentence.

"Yeah, hun?" He said looking over towards me with a smile.

"I..just want to thank you again for the concert and all." I said, with my words sort-of stumbleing over each other.

"Your more than welcome hun." He said turning on his turn signal. "Were about 30 minutes away from your house."

"Oh, it seems we've been in here for forever." I said in disbeleif of what he said. "What time is it anyways?"

"Its 9:11, make sure you say a prayer for all those soldiers who died."

"Yes sir." I said as I bowed my head for a few short moments. "Amen." I said looking at Austin. He was giving me a funny grin that I couldn't seem to tell what it was for. "What?" I said half laughing.

"You look so cute in your boots." he said looking at my curled up figure. My knees were up to my chest and my arms were wrapped around them. "It reminds me of when you were little." He said. I've known him ever since I was 11, but technecally i've known him since I was 8, we just never talked back then. He must've really taken notice to me back then...

"Aww, thanks?" I said. Wondering if that was a compliment or just him being a smart ass.

"No, seriously." he said looking me straight in the eyes.

"You need to keep your eyes on the road, you..imbasil." I said with a laugh.

"Why you gotta be like that?" he wondered.

"I.....I can't take you compliments seriously ever since we broke up." I said, trying not to sound rude. "I'm sorry, but I just can't." I said looking at his face which was a pink blush almost, but you could tell he was mad.

"No. I understand. You have a boyfriend, and I shouldn't be like this." He said as he started to calm himself down.

We both were quiet for the rest of the ride home, barely speeking. I turned the radio on its original volume, and Taylor Swift played 'Ours' softly. I could feel my eyes get heavy, and I just felt like I passed out.
