The Crossbow And It's Owner( a daryl Dixon love story)

Chapter 2

Megs POV

I was standing with daryl when the sheriff guy spoke

"What's your name and why are you here?" He demanded

"I invited 'er te join us she answered the 3 questions and she's safe I checked " daryl answered

" what's your name?" He asks again

" Meg the names Meg massacre " I reply

"I'm rick this here is Glenn and michone " the man who says he's rick reply and point to the people beside him

I nod " nice to meet you"  daryl tells me to follow him in and I do

We enter the prison and I get stared at by many people I just wave a little and follow him into a empty cell

" this will be yers for now put yer stuff away or whatever than walk down to the main area and rick and everybody will meet ye" daryl said before walking off

I just nod and drop my bag and put my guns and knifes down on the table keeping a pistol and hunting knife on me  just in case

I finish up doing that and head out and down like I was told to meet everyone

First person to indrpduce themselves to me was an 12 year old boy named Carl I talked to him for a bit and learned his dad was rick his mom was lori who I have yet to meet and that he's a good shooter

The second person I talked to was Glenn and Maggie ( she joined into the convo after a bit) their nice people but don't play around

Soon I met carol , lori ,Beth , hershal , dale , oscar,  axel and T-dog

Everyone was warey of me for reasons I understood but they were kind just careful of what they said and how close they were to me.

Eventually I went out and went to leave to go practice throwing knife and hunting but heared yelling

"WHERE ARE YE GOING" I hear daryl yell I roll my eyes a bit

' he's hot tho so it's ok' I think to myself  " I'm going hunting why am I not allowed" I ask kinda sarcastically

He runs up behind me crossbow in hand

" I'm coming wit ye " he states as we walk off into the woods together a few squirrels later we stop to rest for a bit

" so tell me about yourself " I ask trying to make a convo

" nottin to tell to be honest" he replys I smirk and push a little bit

" come on you can't be that boring there's gotta be something " I smirk and think back to when me and sky first met

*flash back*
" so sky tell me about you're self you seem intersting" I say she smirks

" I'm not interesting trust me but I guess I will tell you just how boring I am" she giggles

"Come on you can't be that boring it's not possible there always something " I say she just shales her head

" nope I'm that boring book worm nerd the school warned you about , haha beware I may bore you to death and take your notes and marks so I can become even more smart mwahahaha" she says giggling I smile and giggle with her lightly shoving her shoulder

"I can tell we're gonna be the best of friends one day" I say smiling

*end of flash back*

I sat there smiling for a second before I hear daryl's voice

" hey Meg ye alright there girl" he says kinda worried I probably looked crazy

" huh uh yeah just lost in memory there for a second " I say he looks worried still almost kinda sad so I reach my hand up and feel my hand get wet with tears I hadn't notice fall I quickly wipe them away

" we should get going soon" I say quickly getting up and grabbing the squirrels we had got tying the rope to my bag.

He nods and get up grabbing his stuff and we begin to walk back

We get back into camp laughing to one another about funny things that happened bz ( before zombies for those who don't know ) everyone turns and looks at us smirking .

I hand him the squirrels and walk back into my cell to drop my bag and extra weapons and walk back out and downstairs to help prepare dinner..

It wasn't long before rick and Carl came in from outside smirking at me

" what's up?"  I ask

He just shakes his head and walks off but Carl walks up to me

" we haven't seen daryl laugh like that in years " he whispers to me I smirk and look at him with a lol that says 'really??'

He just nods and walks off to his dad
