(Karma's POV)

BEEP BEEP BEEP..... BEEP BEEP BEEP.....

Let me fucking sleep....

BEEP BEEP BEEP..... BEEP BEEP BEEP.....

My eyes shot open. I quickly got off the bed because that was no alarm. That was the fucking smoke detector.

I ran down the stairs and ran into the kitchen. There stood the same women who burnt toast yesterday: Irina Jelabitch.

"IRINA!" She jumped, letting go of today's disaster: burnt egg. I sighed.

"Akuma! When did you get up? It's still 5 in the morning..." She said, slowly backing out of the kitchen. I quickly grabbed her hand and dragged her to the stove. I scrapped off the burnt egg and put a bit if oil on it. I cracked an egg, making a perfect circle, for once. The egg sizzled. A later a few, I flipped it, showing a brown edge around the egg. Once i realized it was done, I turned the stove off and served the egg on a plate.

"That's how you make an egg. I showed you once. Now spend the rest of the day trying to do it." I went back upstairs with the egg to get ready for school.

~Time skip~

"Karma, why are you having a hard time calling Nagisa?" Ritsu asked, watching me hesitate to dial Nagisa's number. Does she know I have it? Of course not. I asked Ritsu to find out what it was.

"Ritsu, you don't know how hard it is and wonder if my client will get mad for calling his granddaughter." Ritsu sat there, not knowing how she was going to answer.

"Hmmm... I'll say.... 'Oh Mr.Yonezaki! Nagisa and I became close friends! This will help me out to further be able to guard her. I'll be able to reach her whenever she wants to now!' Something around those lines." I sighed.

"Ritsu, that's not going to work. I guess I'll have to ask her for her number later on." It's a bother but I'm going to have to do it if I dont want to get on Yonezaki's bad side. Ritsu sighed, throwing herself back.

"Good luck at school then Karma." Ritsu said with a lazy hand waving. "I'll contact you if anything comes up. That means you have to be wearing the earpiece at all times." I let out a long sigh.

"Just because I forgot to put it on while I went to buy some strawberry milk yesterday doesn't mean I should always have it on. Take showering for an example, it'll get damaged." Ritsu shook her head.

"It's waterproof." I glared at her. "W-well, let's do this instead: you have to wear the earpiece whenever you aren't at school or home."

"I'm okay with that."

"Well, you better hurry up and go to school." I nodded. I went down the stairs and towards the main entrance. I sat down to put on my shoes when Irina stood next to me.

"Heading out?"

"I got school." I told her, standing up and grabbing my back. She scanned me from head to toe.

"You actually attend school despite being a hit man?"

"I'm not a hit man lady. I'm simply a child who was at the wrong place at the wrong time."

"Guess we were on the same boat." She muttered. I didn't pry further because it was soon time to go.

"Well then, make sure you don't  burn down the house while I'm gone."

"Don't worry, I won't be here until the day after tomorrow." What is she planning? With that, I left the house to go to Nagisa's. After all, a bodyguard has to be punctual.
