The first store we go to is Madame Malkins and get my robes sorted. My first impression of the store is colourful, and wanting to bleach my eyes.

"How are you? I'm Madame Malkin, what can I do for you today?"

"I need some school robes. I'm starting my first year at Hogwarts, my family has just moved here and I've been enrolled and accepted."

"Alright, what year are you in dear?"

"I'm going to be in my 4th year at Hogwarts."

"Alright, so what do you have already?"

"Nothing. I need everything. I'll just give you the list of what I need, that might be a bit easier than saying it all." I point out with a slight chuckle and dig the list out of pocket to hand her.

"Ok, I can get you all of that; if you could just stand up here I'll take your measurements."

"Thank you." I step up onto a platform and stand as still as I can. Thank god for years of Stakeout's with Masky and Hoody.

"So, you need all new school robes? Why's that?"

"My Father home-schooled me. He didn't trust the school system back home to give me the education I would need to make a career. The only reason I'm going to Hogwarts is because he heard a lot of positive reviews on their teaching."

"Well, it's in the top three European wizarding schools. I think it's second, but that could have changed since the last time I checked. But it's always in the top three. Rarely bellow that mark, and when it is, it's only fourth to fifth it goes too." Ms Malkins lifts my arm and takes those measurements; I glance over at Masky and Hoody, just to see if they're behaving, "Oi. Put that down, stop playing with things and sit down you two. I don't want either of you to break anything. We're new here. Behave." I roll my eyes when they jump ten feet and almost drop whatever it is they were holding.

"Jesus Chrys. Do you have to? We were only looking at the damned thing. Don't be a bitch." Masky complains as Hoody drags him over to the chairs.

I roll my eyes again and choose to ignore him, mouthing a thank-you too Hoods. "Oh, that reminds me, do you know where I can get a dress? Or anything that isn't robes? There's apparently some kind of ball happening this year. I wasn't told the specifics of it, but I would like to get something nice to wear to it. I would ask if you could do it, but I wouldn't have a clue as what to I'd like." I ask with a chuckle at the end.

"Oh, dearie, I'll be able to help you with that not a problem. I'm finished with your measurements so could you hop down and we'll have a look at what colours suit you. It's a shame you don't know what house you're in, we could have used that as a basis, it's surprising that many of the students in each house suit the colours that go with it. But I am thinking a nice a dark, almost black, blue, would be good for you. The dark colour would accentuate your hair and eyes. Speaking of, what happened to them?"

I laugh as I get off the plinth and walk towards her, "I'm apparently what's called a Metamorphagus my brother got annoyed at me because I was all black and white, he asked me to assume my Default appearance, I mostly did, but I kept my eyes black because it annoys him." I return my eyes to their natural honey colour and my hair to its natural ginger smiling slightly, "Sorry if it bothered you at all."

"Not at all dearie, I've had to measure Metamorphagi children who had turned their skin Pink, their hair bright Orange, and had their eyes a deep maroon, quite funny to see them. Do you have a preferred appearance or do you mostly stick to your 'default' looks? I'd rather tailor the dress to suit your preferred looks than your default, especially if your preference is the complete opposite to the features you were born with." She asks while beginning to rifle through some Fabrics.
