11: Liza

"Mum?!" Liza calls from her bedroom upstairs, "Is that you?"
"No it's me." I say, loudly.
"...Elle?" She asks.
"Yes! It's me Elle!" I yell.
She comes rushing down stairs but immediately stops when she sees Dani.

Liza stares at Dani, not knowing who she is.
"This is Dani." I gesture towards Dani.
"Ok..."
"We are just going to study in my room." I say.
"Ok. Do you want any drinks?" Liza smiles.

I look to Dani, who is shaking her head, "No thank you."
"Well, I'll have a bubbly water and lime." I request.
"No, get it yourself." Liza runs upstairs to her room.

"Liza you brat!" I yell.
"Chill." Dani laughs.

Dani and I go to my room, and slowly place our school books on my desk.
"So, what now?" I ask.
"I guess we study." Dani says, looking down at the books.
"Ok, let's do this." I say.

We sit at my desk, intending on studying but instead Dani randomly starts laughing.
"I just remembered the funniest vine!" She laughs.
"Which one?" I ask, eager.

We are both obsessed with vines, but who isn't?

"This little guy says 'Hurricane Katrina, more like Hurricane Tortilla!'" She laughs uncontrollably.
She notices that I'm not laughing.
"You have to see it!"
Dani grabs out her phone and googles 'Hurricane Tortilla vine'.

"That's not studying!" Liza yells.
Of course, Liza is spying on us. She's such a loner, she has to hang out my friends.

I was scrolling through instagram while Dani and I watched vine complications on Dani's phone when Lisa walked in.

Liza sits down on my bed.
"I'm bored. Can we do something fun?" She groans.
"Liza, we need to study." I say.
"Sure, Elle." Liza huffs.

"You wanna know a tragic story?" Liza randomly says, interrupting Dani and I study- for real.
"No." I say.
"Yes." Dani says, the same time I say no.

"Well, I'm going to tell you." Liza demands.

"One time, my crush was overseas and we talked all the time- like, we were great friends all of the sudden." She says.
I groan, this will be boring.

"Anyway, so one time, I finally got up the courage to send him a picture of my face, and because Elle is such a role model to me..." Liza chuckles, "I only sent a picture of half my face, like Elle does to her crush, Ryan."
I tense up with embarrassment, even though Dani knows I like him, it's still awkward.

"Anyway, it must have been the lighting, because he replied back saying I looked like a witch."
Dani laughs, I roll my eyes.

"Whatever. Leave, NOW." I order.
Liza sighs, "Whatever."

"Wait, Liza!" Dani calls.
"Yes." Liza smirks as she sticks her head through the door way to see us.
"I have a story for you."

"Yay!" Liza squeals, jumping onto my bed.
"So, there's this guy, right."
"Right." Liza nods.
"I spent one hour with him in class, and I already like him. I mean, I know it's crazy and will sound stupid, but for that hour I was with him, I had this feeling...like I was complete, I guess. I don't know, but he made me feel happy and positive inside and I like that feeling. I know this isn't really a story, I just had to get it off my chest."

"I know the feeling." I mumble, while doodling in my maths book, instead of continuing to study.

"Wow. Are you going to tell him?" Liza asks, stupidly.
"No! We spent one hour together, I don't want to sound creepy." Dani sighs, "Also, he has a girlfriend."

"You want to know something else?" I add.
Dani and Liza both look at me.
"Today, my crush and my ex best friend ditched me and my new best friend." I roll my eyes, before looking at Dani, who is smiling probably because I referred to her as my best friend.

I guess Dani is my best friend. I mean, we got along straight away- so quickly. I think this means we're destined to best friends?

"Who cares? I mean, about Aurora and Ryan." Liza sighs.
"Ryan is the kind of guy that will get a new girlfriend every week like it's nothing, and when he's older he'll de-virgin girls and leave them in the middle of the night. Screw him, and feel sorry for Aurora because she's stupid enough to date him and be dumped in a few days." Liza causally says.

"De-virgin?" I laugh.
"I don't know what else to call it." Liza laughs.
"Knock and run?" Dani suggests, also laughing.
