Just A Friend

JELENA'S P.O.V

Jonah hasn't really taken this favour into consideration yet, but of course as soon as I say that, he comes towards me.

"Hey Jelena.. So I just wanted to talk about the favour.. I was thinking if you could meet me at the park after school?" Jonah lifts up both of my hands,

"Sure.." I look deeply into his green eyes. Almost getting lost in them, when he let's go of my hands.

"I'll see you then, my little Angel.." ((FRAANDS will get the reference😂😉)) he winks before leaving, and walks back over to his friends.

The bell rings and I start walking to class, when I crash into someone.

"Sorry!" The voice sounds familiar. I look up and I come face to face with the same blue eyed boy from yesterday when Mai and I were walking home.

"Hey Daniel!" I say as we both get up from the ground.

"Oh Hey..."

"Jelena.." I finish off his sentence because I forgot to give him my name last time.😂

"Hey Jelena.."

"I didn't know you went to this school!" I say as we start walking to class

"I just started today, and when you saw me yesterday, I was actually exploring the town." I stop outside of my class,

"Oh.. well ill see you.." I give him a hug and I walk in the class.

When I sit at my desk, a girl in front of me turned around and looked at me.

"Who's that? I thought you were dating Jonah.." She says

"He's my friend.. Calm down." I say as I get out my books. The teacher walks in and the class starts.

"This girl in my calculus class asked me about Daniel and I! Like, wtf.." I complain and Mai just laughs.

"Calm down... you don't like though.. do you?" Mai looks at me seriously now.

"Well..." I look away from her.

I said that very truthfully. I did like Daniel but not love. Daniel and I were just friends, and that's how I wanted things to stay.

I know mine and Jonah's relationship is fake, but I still like him, even though I know he will never like me back.

I'm not saying that I love Jonah. I just like him. A lot.

"So you do like him?!" Mai shouts. I shush her and we start whispering.

"I like him as a friend Mai!" I whisper shout

"Good.. cause may I just remind you, that you have a BOYFRIEND..!" Mai states the obvious

"No shit sherlock.." I say and we laugh.
