An Excuse

JONAHS P.O.V

Today is the day that Jelena is leaving. She said that she's leaving early in the morning so she won't be able to say goodbye to me. I acted like I didn't care, but I really did.

I'm going to miss her. Everything we've been through, even before I used to date her, and when I used to bully her.

FLASHBACK

I see Jelena is drinking at the water fountain so I thought this would be the perfect time to tell her.

"Hey Selena.." I said that on purpose

"It's Jelena you doofus.." She says continuing to drink for the fountain. Her hair covering up the side of her face.

"Whatever..  You know Jazzy right?" I ask, leaning against the wall watching her drink the water,

"Why do you want to know?" She stops drinking, looking into my eyes, as I stare back.

"I want to ask her something.." I smirk,

"You want to ask her to sleep with you? That's your goal right? To sleep with every girl apart from one.. *cough* Me *cough*.." She tries to walk away, but I catch up to her, walking by her side.

Why does she think that I don't like her? She's the only girl I want to sleep with.

Wait, that came out wrong! Ugh whatever.

"Well.. not technically.. I want to ask her if she has done our project.." I say.

"Typical.. Getting the nerd to do the work.." She sits down in her seat, and I  sit at the one in front of her. I turn around,

"No.. I just want to know if she has done her side of the project.. She's doing the pictures and I'm doing the writing.." I ask

"Wow.. Unexpected. A fellow FB member actually doing work!.." She says, sarcasm in her voice

"Don't judge a book by its cover.. I'm only doing it so my parents will let me throw a party when they're gone next weekend.." 

"Whatever.. I don't know where she is, so look for her yourself.."

"Please help me..?" I do puppy eyes

"No! Now turn around!" She whacks me on the side of his head, making me whimper in pain. I rub my head before turning back around,

"Can you at least text her?" I ask

"Fine! If it will make you shut up! Far out you whine a lot!" She gets out her phone texting Jazz

"She said she has done her side of the project, and she's not at school.. Now turn around.." She pushes my shoulder, making me face forward. I tear out a piece of my page, writing the word,

Thxx

Before handing the paper to her.

"Your welcome.." She whispers.

I like Jelena. That whole thing was just an excuse to talk to Jelena. I knew that Jazz wasn't coming to school, I just wanted to hear her voice.

Gosh I'm cheesy.

I continue to listen to the teacher.

Once again, just a filler in chapter..

I actually didn't write this in the bus, I wrote this in the car on a weekend so I could kind of get ahead of time and so that I wouldn't have to do it on the bus.
