Japanese With Jonah

JELENA'S P.O.V

Last night was such a mess.

I eventually got over it, and I got out of bed to get ready.

I took a quick shower, then I got changed.

"Hey, Mum.. can you give me a ride to school today?" I ask mum, as I sit at the island, devouring my pancakes.

"Sure honey.. I'll be in the car.." Mum goes into the garage, and waits in the car.

I brush my teeth and I get into the car.

"Bye mum.." I wave to mum and I walk over to Mai.

"Hey Jel!" Mai says, turning away from her locker and faces me.

"Hey Mai.." We continue to talk, and the bell rings.

We make our way to homeroom.

"Come on! I want to get our seats!" I tug Mai's arm.

Mai and I have Japanese now, and I wanted to get out seats before everyone takes them.

"I'm coming!! Calm!" Mai says and she laughs.

We FINALLY get to Japanese class, and we got our seats.

"OK.. I'm going to be handing out a piece of paper.. some of you will have English words, while some of you will have Japanese.. you must find your partner.. for example, if you have 'basketball saturday' you have to find your partner that has the Japanese version.. you must find your opposite language.." The teacher hands out the papers.

"OK, you may go.." Everyone stands up and goes around asking what they have. Some people have already found their partner!

"Um, Jonah.. do you have netball on Sunday?" I ask

"Yep.." Jonah smirks.

"OK.. come on then.. we have to show the teacher.." I drag Jonah to the teacher by his arm.

"Well done.. ok everyone! Sit with your partner please.." Everyone sits down.

"Class dismissed!" The teacher says.

"Bye Mai.." I wave to Mai, and I start walking to where my mums car is parked.

"Jelena! Are you ok.. from last night?" Jonah says

"Yes.. I'm fine.." I say. Jonah hugs me and I hug him back.

I get inside the car, and my mum looks at me weirdly.

"What?" I say

"Who's that?" My mum smirks

"A Friend.. now drive.." I say, and mum laughs.

"Sure he is.."
