January 20th
6AM:

The air outside my bedroom window was cold and crisp. I breathed it in as I got into black gym pants and a red long sleeve shirt. I tossed my long brown hair into a high ponytail and put on a pair of black nikes. I was on my way out of my apartment drinking some pre-workout. READY TO KILL BACK DAY, THURSDAY YOU'LL BE MY B*TCH.

I walked into the gym and there was no one there. I put my Beats Pill on and began playing the EDM playlist I had on Spotify. 25 minutes of cardio first, then weights. I began jogging on the treadmill when all the sudden the gym door swung open super fast. Oh hello hot eye candy to look at this morning.
This guy had to have been maybe 6 foot, lots of muscles, and he had a SnapBack on his head. I didn't watch much of what he was doing aside from when he walked in. When my 25 minutes on the treadmill were up, I hopped off and noticed he was working out arms by my music.

"Excuse me," I asked him. He stopped his work out and turned to me with a smile.  "Did you want me to turn this off," I pointed to my speaker.

"It doesn't bother me. I actually really like this playlist," he kept smiling at me and it made me smile. "My name is Adin." He stuck his hand out for me to shake it.

"Lauren," I gave him a firm handshake. "You're new here?"

"Just moved into this complex actually like three days ago. First time here in this gym," he let go of my hand.

"Well welcome Adin," I smiled again. "I'm gonna head back to start my workout, but it was nice to meet you."

"Thank you," he went back to his work out and I began mine.

1 1/2 Hours Later

I finished up my workout and wiped the sweat off my face. It always felt really good to work off my pre-workout. My body felt nice and refreshed. I went to pick up my speaker until Adin stopped me.

"Aw you're leaving already," he asked as he put his weights back on the weight rack.

"It's 8AM. Gotta eat breakfast and get a protein shake in me before 8:30 and I become hangry," I grinned and picked up my speaker.

"What a coincidence me too," Adin grinned at me. "I hope I'm not being too forward with you right now, but I'd love to take you to breakfast and to get you a protein shake." Free food and free protein? Hmm.

"Okay. I'm game," I put my speaker in a small black backpack. "You finished up your workout?"

"Yes let's go, there's this low key breakfast place we can go to walking distance from here," Adin wiped the sweat off his forehead. His muscles glistened in the gym lights. I couldn't help but stare at him.

"If it's Glenn's Diner then we better hurry up," I walked over to the door to leave waiting for Adin to put a sweatshirt on.

"You've got it," Adin fast walked out of the gym and to the elevator. "Come on!" I giggled and waited with him for an elevator.
