*April 12th, 2PM*

It's been about three months since Adin and I made it official and it's been such an amazing time. It's exactly the same as how it was before we made it official. Joking around, eating good food, and messing around in the recording studio all the time. But this week was gonna be a very different week. Why is it different you may ask. Well, the Kolanskys are coming to LA for spring break. Momma, papa, and Alyssa. I have never met someone's parents that I've dated and it was nerve racking.
I spent hour deep cleaning my apartment, washing all my laundry, and pick up the right outfits for when I meet them aka picking them up at the airport at 7PM tonight. Adin was with me at my place watching TV while I freaked out.

"Lauren," Adin called from the livingroom.

"Yeah," I shouted from the kitchen.

"You wanna shower and get ready now? It's almost 3! Also stop freaking out. They'll like you," Adin reassured me. I was still freaking out in the shower and getting ready. His parents love to drink so after we pick them up that's the first thing we get to do.

I hopped out of my room ready to go

I hopped out of my room ready to go. Adin was sitting on the couch watching a video on his phone. He looked up at me and I nodded my head signaling that I was ready. It was about 5PM now by the time we were heading out for the airport. We took my car to the airport cause his wouldn't fit all of us comfortably. We waited over by the baggage claim and waited. I was so nervous I couldn't stop tapping my feet.

"You'll be okay babe. They're gonna love you. They already like you and don't know you," Adin put an arm around my shoulder and gave me a squeeze. 30 minutes passed by and I heard someone start shouting Adin. His family came running at him embracing him in such big hugs. I wish I knew how that felt, mom and dad missing you so much they just don't wanna let you go.

"Mom, dad, Alyssa this is Lauren my girlfriend," Adin introduced me. His mom gave me a humongous hug hello.

"You're the girl Adin calls me about all the time. Oh my god it's so nice to meet you," Mrs. Kolansky exclaimed as she hugged me. His dad gave me a hug and his sister couldn't stop hugging.

"Finally. God answered my prayers to help find Adin a woman out here," Alyssa shouted with glee. I laughed at her and so did Adin.

"Hey I found girls out here before," Adin rolled his eyes. "She's just the best girl out here so."

"Alright can we get a fuckin drink and some food now or are we gonna wait here til our flight home," Mr. Kolansky put an arm around Adin's shoulder and we began for my car. We loaded all the bags up and we drove off.

Adin decided on The Whisper lounge and restaurant for dinner. It's a really nice restaurant, I think he was just trying to impress his parents. We sat down at a table and ordered our drinks and some shots and our dinner. We talked and laughed about all the funny stories about Adin when he was small and when he was in high school.

"And then he came down stairs with underwear on his head throwing a tantrum," Mrs. Kolansky was in tears.

"Weirdest tantrum ever. It was literally over eating chicken for dinner," Mr. Kolansky took a sip of his drink. "Now that's all he fuckin eats."

"All about the gains," Adin flexed his arm. I rolled my eyes playfully at him.

"I really like the necklace Lauren," Mrs. Kolansky reached out and touched the 'A' on around my neck.

"Oh thank you. Adin got it for me when he asked me out," I smiled proudly.

"So it's 'A' for asshole then," Alyssa laughed.

"The biggest asshole I know," I chuckled and everyone else at the table laughed. Being with his family seemed so natural. They were so welcoming and warm towards me. It was as if they were apart of my life since I was small. I couldn't help but feel closer to Adin now after dinner with his family.

We finished our drinks and dinner and his parents decided it was time to go check into their hotel room. We drove them to a nearby Hilton and said our goodbyes.

"It was such a pleasure to meet you finally," Mr. Kolansky gave me a hug.

"Yeah it was nice to meet you guys too. Thank you for tonight," I smiled.

"We get to see you again soon right Lauren. I couldn't leave without seeing you again," Mrs. Kolansky grabbed my hand.

"Yeah mom she's gonna be going with us to Disneyland this week," Adin winked at me. Oh goodness I haven't been to Disneyland in almost ten years, I had no idea he was gonna take me. I got an overwhelming feeling of butterflies in my stomach.

"I can't wait! Another girl to hang out with," Alyssa shrieked.  We finished up hugging everyone goodnight and left. Adin and I sat in silence on the way home until he broke it.

"What'd you think," Adin sighed. He kept his eyes on the road.

"Oh I love them," I smirked. I saw Adin looking at me. "They made me feel welcomed."

"Yeah they're pretty amazing. I'm glad you like them. They really like you," Adin smiled. "And I uh-forgot to tell you about Disneyland. It's actually supposed to be a surprise."

"Thank you thank you thank you," I grabbed Adin's hand and squeezed it so hard. "I haven't been in so long. I'm so excited to be going."

"You're welcome. Two days alright," Adin squeezed back.

"Alright," I smiled widely. This guy never lets me down. All of his thoughtfulness and surprises. Adin was just the most amazing man I have ever met. He treated me as if I was his last chance at love. Maybe this is moving too fast, maybe it's not fast enough! Three months into a relationship and I meet the family? That's not too soon. Am I over thinking it?
