Wednesday morning rolled around and I was walking down the street to go to Trader Joe's to pick up some groceries and of course my weekly flowers. It was about time I got some food in me before I finished up the recording I've been working on since 5AM this morning.

I walked in a grabbed a cart and began roaming the aisles. I grabbed cheerios and cookies off the shelf then ventured off to get some produce. I heard someone yell my name loudly.

"LAUREN YOU HEY LAUREN," a strange voice came from only God knows where. I turned around and examined the store, then I realized it was Adin. He was with Lance and Lizzy. I waved and smiled at him and kept moving on to produce.

I put spinach and berries and bananas in my cart and began looking over more vegetables until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Adin behind me.

"Sorry if I made a scene," he shyly said to me.

"It's alright. I'm not used to cute boys yelling at me in public," I laughed and picked up a red bell pepper and put it in my cart. I kept examining the veggies.

"Well I think you might need to get used to it," Adin smirked and grabbed a green bell pepper. "Here this one is a good one." I looked at it and he put it in my cart. Hmm he can pick produce.

"I need to get used to it because...?" I didn't make eye contact with him. Playing it hard to get so I looked over some onions.

"That's something for me to know and for you to find out. Here," he picked up a large red onion and a large yellow onion. "Best onions to put in omelets and chicken wraps." I examined the onions and put them in my cart.

"You're starting to impress me Adin," I began to walk towards the dairy aisle and he followed me. "Don't you have Lance and Lizzy to go catch up with? I don't want them to leave you behind."

"I'd much rather act like I'm grocery shopping with you than third wheeling over there," he grinned and pointed at Lance and Lizzy. "They're the ones that encouraged me to come talk to you."

"Awh am I making you nervous," I looked at him and smirked. He was starring at me and then looked away.

"Maybe you do," he smirked. "What else do you need to get? I'm here to help you." And another point for him being a gentleman.

"Eggs, almond milk, coffee creamer, Colby Jack cheese, bread, and flowers," I read off my list to Adin then handed it to him. He walked with me around the store and grabbed the items and put them in my cart. He obviously didn't know what brands I buy, but the thought counts to me a lot. We were in the little flower section and I was looking at a cute little bouquet of Gerber daisies, my favorite.

"Which ones do you like," Adin asked looking through the plastic covers.

"I normally get gerber daisies or I get the little mix bouquets. Just some color and to bring some freshness and color into the middle of LA," I put the daisies in my cart.

"Which one is your favorite," he asked.

"Orange gerber daisies or yellow roses, but I was always told that you never buy yourself roses." I looked at Adin who was still looking at all the flowers. "You ready?"

"Yeah I'm good. Did you want help with your groceries today Lauren," Adin came up to my left side.

"I wouldn't mind it. Carrying four bags and a gallon of milk isn't the most pleasant thing in the world," I got in line to pay for my food. "What about Lance and Lizzy?"

"They know I'm gonna help you. They're actually going back to their apartment in our complex right now," he pointed as Lance and Lizzy waved as they walked out the store. Adin helped my bag all the food and carry it down the street to the apartment complex.

"I really appreciate your help," I was watching my feet as we walked down the street.

"Any time. Thinking about you struggling with all this stuff is a little funny though," he giggled. I could feel him looking at me so I shot him a look.

"Ha ha," I rolled my eyes. We walked into the complex and waited for the elevator to get to us. "So I think maybe since you went grocery shopping with me at your own free will and that you're gonna be coming up to my apartment anyways," I trailed off.

"Hmm am I sensing someone hinting at something," Adin nudged my elbow. The elevator arrived and we got in.

"Would you like to see where I record," I looked over at him. I kinda hoped he'd say he was busy afterwards. The elevator beeped to my floor and we began down the hall to my apartment.

"Well if you'll let me see your recording area I'd love to," Adin continued by my side. We stopped at my door all the way at the end of the hallway. I opened it and we went inside. "This place looks so cool."

"Thanks! I put a lot of time into making it just perfect," I put the groceries on the kitchen counter and Adin did as well. I began to toss the old flowers from a vase and to put in ones. I glanced over to see what Adin was unloading all the groceries. "Adin go ahead and leave that there. Let me show you where I record."

I showed Adin down the hall to my little recording area. I had a black futon in there with decorative pillows and a big sweater blanket. The microphone was set up on a stand in the corner and I had my computer on a black desk. The walls had movie posters framed. Adin looked around the room and I sat on the futon just enjoying him get giddy about the room. He was smiling so wide and I could tell her was actually enjoying playing with the equipment.

"So," I sighed and relaxed into the futon. "You wanna record something with me?"
